Thanks. Just applied for mine. I got a VVW week for exchanging in II, and was wondering if I needed RCI to really get benefits of owning VV resort. Now I get to find out for free! The QR code ends up with https://discover.rci.com/enroll/rci-2-years
I too got the offer to work, as a 1st time member. Not sure how the TPUs work. It seems like there are fees for everything. I feel like I will be paying several hundred in fees to make this 'gift horse' useable.Said with a chuckle, no intent to offend anyone ... I didn't think a lawyeresqe disclaimer was necessary before posting.
I don't work for or have any business affiliation with Wyndham, RCI or parent corporate TNL. My knowledge of this offer is limited to what you can read for yourself on the screenshot and/or on the website.
It worked for me (and yes I was pleasantly surprised it did), perhaps it will work for you. This is my first time to have a RCI membership. Since it is for 'new members' I assume it will not work if you've had a RCI membership before ... that's my interpretation. I'm sure RCI confirms the ownership you enter on the form. What's the harm in trying?
Do your own due diligence. YMMV. Exclusions and exceptions may apply ...
Resist the urge to 'look a gift horse in the mouth'.
No, I don't think you will have to pay a fee to add a week. I add weeks all of the time for no extra cost. Soleil may not let you use RCI, if you didn't pay to "upgrade" to RCI Points. That is what a few people who own Hono Koa found out. They could only use II, unless they paid $5,000, or some ridiculous amount of cash, to enroll in RCI Points. I think Soleil makes $4,700 of that $5,000. RCI only charges $299. Yeah.I too got the offer to work, as a 1st time member. Not sure how the TPUs work. It seems like there are fees for everything. Edit: It seems I need to contact my resort in order to get their permission to deposit my week? Sounds like another fee.
I got a message that the offer has expired when I tried today. At least some folks got to take advantage of this.
I input the code in the link and tried to enroll using my Worldmark Owner's dashboard portal to RCI. Said code was expired. I will try using the form in the link and see what happens.I followed the link in post #3 and it let me apply just a few minutes ago.
I just chose any WM resort since it isn't week specific.I am a Worldmark owner (no specific WM resort owned, just WM credits.) in the link in post #3, when it asks for a specific resort/week I don't know what to put since I only own WM credits. Is there a way for me to apply for this offer, or is this offer only for those who own a specific resort/week? Thank!
I received an email from RCI with my member number on Aug 19th and I have tried to register for four straight days. When I complete the registration process and then click the button to accept the terms and conditions, it fails with this error message " Weeks Member Registration Failed In EVS1 System". I have tried calling and chating with RCI, but they can not tell me what the problem is. The usual response is try again in 24 hours.Just wanted to report back - I applied, received multiple emails with my member number, tried to register on three different days and I kept getting error messages. Finally - two days ago - it allowed me to sign up! Thank you again!
Iām having same trouble but they did give me an IT ticket number.
