SEEKING: Club Wyndham Midtown 45, 143k-189k / floating
Hello! I have some questions about "floating weeks," non-converted.

I understand that contracts are issued in Points these days, but:
  1. Are all contracts issued in points, or are floating week contracts still issued?
    1. If floating week contracts are only older contracts, which resorts have them?
      1. I feel like a Midtown 45 floating week would suit me well, but I haven't seen any for this property online.
  2. Are MFs cheaper on floating week contracts than points contracts? Or does this vary?

Thanks for all of your insights today and always!

I've seen fixed weeks (not converted to points) but never floating weeks. Wyndham went through a time where they were converting these fixed weeks into points so most owners jumped on that. And since you don't actually deed into Midtown that there shouldn't be a floating or fixed week. But you may be right about the older resorts perhaps even Fairfield era might be the only ones if they exist.

We own a floating week ~ not points ~ they tried to get us to convert, but why should we??? We own a full week in July or August at The Bay Voyage in Jamestown RI. This was owned by Fairfield when we bought, now Wyndam ~ and it's a terrific trader. I don't know of any others. and I don't know if there is a difference in MFs.
