May I ask who you are using to complete the closing/transfer? The attorney we were referred to is not very responsive.I have am waiting to complete the closing on the purchase of a 2 BR, 2BA at QH, week 8. We stayed there 20 years ago, and our daughter stayed there last year with positive experiences. Parking is a negative, but not surprising for the French Quarter. As I understand it, the Outfield Group push for conversion to II points is not mandatory for deeded owners. I am certainly not interested.

Love my QH weeks, they are fantastic traders in RCI, especially given the lower-than-average maintenance fees.
Sometimes the furniture can be a bit dated but the location is superb.
The whole building is outdated! The furniture fits right in!
It certainly is outdated but there probably isn't a better place for exploring the French Quarter, imo. We really liked the place because of the location.

@Della620 I own at Quarter House and love it there, its a great value for the resale price of the timeshare.I too am looking at purchasing not one, but two deeded weeks at the Quarter House. We stayed there during Mardi Gras and (I) fell in love with the location. Would love to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly from those who have experienced it.
I have only spoken to Nina and Nikki, but it has been a few years since I have called and they definitely returned my call. What information do you need? Maybe someone here can answer your questions faster.Purchase is complete and I've received my first maintenance fee bill--but NOTHING else. Does anyone have a good contact at the Qtr Hse? Nina and Nikki do not return phone calls, nor respond to emails. So very frustrated.
@Sugarcubesea -- I'm VERY familiar with the FQ. To the point I do go out alone at night. It's things specific to the Qtr Hse I can't seem to get nailed down.
I have yet to receive anything other than a bill. And only a bill for one u it. Not both. I would think a new owner should receive some type of informational package. For example, I know you are supposed to provide your intent for use. How do I do that? When do I do that. It really frustrates me that no one responds. It makes me seriously question my purchase, but I LOVE NOLA and fell in love with the Qtr Hse when we stayed there.I have only spoken to Nina and Nikki, but it has been a few years since I have called and they definitely returned my call. I think that I usually receive a paper to fill out about usage with my maintenance fee bill. I didn't get one this year as I recall, but I had already deposited the week, so maybe that is why. I agree that you need to get to the bottom of the missing invoice. I would call again and explain everything to someone at the front desk so that they will explain the issue to Nina or Nikki.I have yet to receive anything other than a bill. Before you go all in on renting, please take a look at the string in this forum titled New Orleans Short Term Rentals. It may affect how you go about your rental(s).My wife and I were gifted a 2bdr at Quarter House from our Aunt and Uncle back in 2023. We simply love the place and the city. We even named a child after the city in fact. We own Suite 231 week 8. It use to fall on Super bowl week every 6 or 7 years and now with the added game schedule its the week before. NOLA hosts SB this year and we hope to rent it out which brings me to my point. For those of you who may not know, the Quarter House gives its owners MAJOR room discounts on a nightly basis when you need travel accommodations. (As long as a major event isnt going on to spike prices. ) I got a 1bdr suite for under 130 a night the last week of Oct 2024 and there wasn't any crazy tax or resorts fees ect. It was literally the price I was quoted over the phone. You just have to call and give them your owner ID when booking. Also Taylor Swift ended up performing at the Super Dome that week and prices went insanely through the roof and our QH nightly stay rate never increased. Just a FYI.
