PS people are aghast because the issues you have with your dog- pet sitting expenses, grooming needs- were all things that were within your ability to anticipate before you made the decision to obtain her. Shes a healthy living creature who had no say into whose hands she fell. It seems like you expect she should pay a pretty high price for your failure to think it through. Find her another home, people are crazy for doodles, it won’t be hard.

Can you believe the puppies are 9 weeks old today?! And the one in the middle has already flown the coop to Colorado!

The boy pup on the right will be going to Colorado. Name TBD.
The next one over is our keeper girl who we will call Blitz. Which is German for lightning.
The middle one you already heard about.
The next red boy is going to live in Cedar Rapids with his half brother. His name will be Karl.
Shaggy black boys placement is up in the air. I’m no longer sure about his planned New Hampshire placement. I have taken to calling in Brussel Sprout.

They are beautiful. No matter the circumstances (planned breeding or irresponsible mutts) . . . I am always intrigued by the outcome of puppies within the same litter. They are adorable and the shaggy one is the cutest.

Thank you for posting this. Admittedly, I've missed quite a bit through this thread until today. I was shocked and dismayed at such a thought from Bill.

Yes, I can almost feel that sumptuous puppy fur, couldn’t put one down if I picked one up. Loved being a dog mom and probably will do it again some day. For now, one of the neighbor dogs has me on his daily route so I do get to dole out chin scritches. Not the same as cuddly puppy.

Shaggy black and tan boy is going to Michigan to a working dog home.

I kid you not: he is going to be a police tracking dog!

His name will be Bean. Named after an Apollo astronaut.
