Problems making Reservations

Hey Guys,

Just checking to see if the reservation system is lagging on your end as well. I can sign in, but as soon as I click "book now" it just hangs

Mine is also stuck loading the flash app - one more thing to look forward to here in 2016 is the new reeservation system without flash :)

Hopefully the new system, will be much better than the old one.

Ditto. Same symptoms as cyberc. Was like that when I tried yesterday, [and still is stuck today] (-- oops, while I was typing this it went through. Try again). (Double oops - it gets past the flash loading, but now is stuck trying to pick a resort).

When that happens, you can call in your reservation request and explain that online reservations aren't working. They should give you a changeable reservation at the online cost. The reps are very familiar with how often the online system breaks.

I've been adding days to a HHV reservation to get to 15 nights in late Sept/early Oct. The past three days have been frustrating trying to change the reservation. Lots of retrying and retrying, but eventually I got through to the change screen, then it froze. Back to retrying and retrying. I've been working on the computer, so it was a little easier to keep trying. Finally, I was able to get the extra day each of these days, although twice the system hung at the final screen but the change went through. I didn't bother calling since I figured the wait times would be worse.

For what we're paying in dues and reservation fees, this is ridiculous. But considering the fact that we were told 2-3 years ago that a new online reservation system was coming, I have no hope we'll see this latest announcement any time soon.
 
Yeah, I've been experiencing the froze screen too. For me it seems to appear on the last step in the reservation process where the screen just hangs but the change goes through :shrug:

Lol, I'm just happy that they fixed the last room bug which now allows us to easily add on a day :banana::banana:

However I'm also a little fearful of any new reservation system. We might lose this latest fix with the implementation of a new system :doh:. Hopefully they selected a replacement reservation system with a little less flash and a lot more substance :wall:

Adding on my last day to a reservation this morning went smoothly. But the emailed change from two days ago arrived this morning, and yesterday's addition that showed on the website disappeared, so I had to repeat it today. Argghh!!!! At least I now have my 15 nights and can quit dealing with this for a while.

I think it happened because the system was so overloaded at the end of the year that making changes took forever and the process kept freezing. It was back to normal this morning.
