Positive Review of eBay Seller tochoa25 - The Timeshare Group, LLC

Thomas Ochoa is very trustworthy and easy to work with. I have done several transactions with him over the years. He is less likely to take a lower offer as is his right to stand his ground. . He will relist it first several times which I respect. I like his approach but don't buy much from him since if I wait, I can usually get a better deal on one of the other eBay seller fire sale listings. However I feel like his prices are fair, I am just cheap. LOL

Just completed The District 7200 points for $5750. This is a “by Hilton Club” property. I own in NYC, so I already have some perks from the club level - but it still gives me a bigger window for booking at bHC sites.

Made offer from ebay listing 12/2 and points showed up in my account 1/22. Considering there is a 30 day ROFR in there, it went very quickly. Obviously, I needed to promptly return signed offer, all paperwork, deposit and payment quickly to keep it going, but their end was very smooth and no big issues.

I got property at a price I am happy with so I rate it a win. Good communication, answers to my questions, went ahead at each step promptly. so I can certainly recommend them.

He's been around almost as long as TUG, that says something. The question, for people who might care, would be what is his voluminous source of timeshares, exit companies?

I agree I have seen him relist the same week / unit number multiple times for a TS I was looking to own and finally by waiting another 2 months I was able to buy one cheaper then he currently had it listed for 2 months after the initial high listing. I totally respect him standing his ground but those of use looking for deals, would not probleby pay more for a property they could get elsewhere cheaper.

Thomas Ochoa is not the seller that is currently using the ebay name of tochoa25. I originally bought quite a few resales through Thomas. I was surpised that it was not him who sold me a few in recent years. So the username is probably used by the same company. The guy I see is:

I rented some Abound points from them a few months ago, and the person I dealt with certainly purported himself to be Thomas Ochoa. So I think he’s still around, perhaps he has colleagues who do the same thing he does.
