Pool Temps at Lagunamar [MERGED]

We won't be at WLR until March or April 2010. Starwood has 14 months to get it straightened out.
On a side note, we went to Cancun 3 years ago in March. The resort had four pools and only one was heated. No one swan in the other three pools, they were freezing. The lows at night just suck the heat right out of the pools.

tomandrobin, ... There have been complaints that only the bottom pool (nearest the ocean?) of the 3 connected Lagunamar pools is heated. If another resort has 4 pools and only 1 is heated, maybe Lagunamar is not so bad.
It might be the association pinching pennies to keep the MF low while Starwood has control of the resort. (Couldn't resist given the complaints about MFs rising because Starwood is wasting money!)
I'll report back by February 1 on how my heat sensitive skin is doing. Maybe everyone will just have to crowd into one pool at Lagunamar when it's cold.
I was at Harborside in December and I wouldn't have called that pool toasty! Very shallow parts were OK, deeper was downright chilly. ... eom

The Laguna mar pool;
The word from management is that the third pool (nearest the beach) has the heater installed. After my questions I was told it was working but there were some issues with the system in getting hot water to the pool. We will see tomorrow!
The showers;
The shower has what I would consider a design issue. That being said we have had no problems. My solution was to not point the shower head directly at the shower door. The shower floor is about 3/8" lower the outer ledge and the water will drain without flooding the bathroom.
