245,000 is all you can carry forward. The rest will have to go into RCI on Dec 31st. That will keep the points active in RCI until Dec 31st 2022.

Have you deposited roll over points into RCI before? Was it after they fixed the loophole that allowed people to rollover points again as long as it was under the amount they owned? The rule for RCI deposits says you can deposit up to the amount owned into RCI. If you already deposited as much as you can to the next year, I’m not sure you can do a deposit into RCI. It doesn’t say you cannot deposit rollover points, but I’m not sure that you can.

I know people are getting there points cancelled. And I didn’t think Wyndham was taking new reservations. I looked at several beach locations for for check in for this weekend and rooms were available for week stays to book. So I am a little confused. Why are they cancelling reservations and we are still able to book. Bonnet Creek was available to.

Just to clarify, there is no longer any such thing as cancelled points - that type of "bucket" was eliminated about 4 years ago, if I remember correctly. The points from your cancelled reservations went back to whatever use year they originally came from and can be used as regular use year points. You can deposit them to a future year in Wyndham, and that's what I would recommend. For this year only, Wyndham has lifted the deadline for moving those points, so you'll actually have until the end of your use year to make that future deposit. But going forward, it is correct that gold has the first nine months to use the points deposit feature.

Thanks so much. Especially for the info on cancelled points. Finally something that gets better for us Wyndham owners.

You can also extend them for a third year for a small fee.
