I just received this email from HGV and have opted in. You opt in under the your profile pic and then Manage Communications. Could be interesting to see what it returns. Also, a bit worried that it may think that I am not very intelligent and give me worse picks...:)

I came here to see if anyone else got this. I just got the same email.
 
I saw this a little while back and deleted it. I know where I want to stay, and don't need "intelligence" to help me figure it out. Whatever "intelligence" I may, or may not, have is sufficient :)

Of course, since it's in beta, if some try it and it has some real benefit, I could likely opt in later. Doubt it, though.

Seems like a way they can tell customers and investors that they are incorporating AI to make them look trendy.

I already have AI from them - All Inclusive for reservation fees through bHC. That's all the HGVC AI I need.

I received it and opted in. We'll see what happens, but we are booked so far up to 2025 lol.
 
Yes. I got it as well. Based on our relatively small sample size, it would appear it is being offered to a fairly significant "beta" group. I suspect it will be of limited benefit to me, so I'm still deciding whether I will participate.

If it's going live in '25, maybe the kinks will be gone.

I think all HGVC received it....it sounds like The Club members didn't though.
 
I cannot imagine how other companies (AMZN & NFLX obviously) managed to do this stuff for a decade without AI. Oh. Wait. I do.

AI; I looked up a quote from the movie The Big Short the other day to get the exact wording. I had 2 potential words for 1 word in the quote. I knew who said it. It is obvious who said it. How could anybody get that wrong. I used "AI", Llama. Result: they got the quote but attributed it to the wrong character. WTwhat? Anybody who trusts anything at all important to these things just doesn't care about being right.
To make it worse, my limited usage so far has made me prefer Llama to GPT. And then that ...

The Kinks will be here as long as Lola strides the earth and it is possible to laze around on a sunny afternoon even after the tax man has taken all your dough and the girls still want to go out with David Watts and Rudolph Valentino still looks very much alive as he looks up ladies dresses as they sadly pass him by
 
I got it but will hold off and let the rest of you tell me how well it works. The HGVC system is not that big and we have been owners long enough that we know where we want to go. Probably useful to newbies or folks who only use their home resort. If if does this for RCI or DEX I am interested.

Embarc got it too. Not interested. Fix the basics first!
What I really want is for them to finally fix their crappy website so that our reservation screens work without bugs and constantly having to call in, so that they stop doing a copy/paste of the DRI site using terms like THE CLUB points (we don't have The Club) on our screenswithout any proofreading, start using the correct member numbers in confirmations, stop using the terms & conditions referring to Diamond instead of Hilton and that they correct things like the banking of points that is riddled with bugs - either banking extra points that shouldn't be there or not allowing the correct amounts to be banked.
I think 2 years is enough time to finally get things working unless you've got a thoroughly incompetent IT Dept. Note that when Diamond took us over it was the complete opposite. Things rolled out smoothly.
End of rant...
