I just checked mine - I don't see the ARDA-ROC line on the payment screen - which I shouldn't since I can't make political contributions as a non-US citizen/resident.

But lest you be dismayed that MVC is no longer operating at their high IT standards, you'll be relieved to note that I see the following for my 2BR SVR Cascades when I look at the actual statement:

I wonder if they would notice if I deducted $10 from my payment. It clearly says that the amount due includes the ARDA contribution.:p
 
SVR Spas 2BR annual $822.65 operating assessment + $189.11 replacement reserves + $130.02 estimated real estate tax = $1141.78

That's 9.8% over the previous year's $1039.81
My Spas 2 BR assessment was similar except for the RE tax, $113.56 vs $130.02 previously reported.
So I have a 9.65% increase over previous year; not too bad considering the proposed budget for the Lakes HOA.

FYI, when I went to pay it defaulted to the amount *without* the ARDA contribution. This is a huge improvement, since we no longer need to remember to adjust the payment amount.

What is this Membership Fee I have to pay? I thought I already paid the Marriott Abound fees? ugh... MF hidden fees are annoying.

Do you also own Marriott points or enrolled weeks? If you don't, you wouldn't (or shouldn't) pay them separatly. What all do you own, your profile only shows WKORVN.

This seems to be 2023's MF, not 2024's.
 
Agreed. 2024 fees haven't posted yet, which is concerning since they normally post in early November. Hopefully it's just an operational delay which is understandable given the context.

Qs:
1- Is the VSN membership fee separate from Abound fees? Wasn’t charged this last year but paid the Abound fee for a different property. Have you been charged this fee this year? The text on the statement doesn’t explain what this charge is and why it’s being levied

2- Charges for replacement reserves and real estate taxes seem steep. Can’t remember if I paid for this last year. Is anyone else scratching their head?

Is this SVV week in Abound? If so, there shouldn't be a VSN Fee of $187.50. That sounds like the opt out VSN fee structure, or not enrolled in Abound. The Abound Club Dues are higher. Ours is included in our SVV Bella week and is $280.

Last year they tried to charge me an Abound fees on this but I had it refunded because I paid it on another VoI on the same account. Surprised why they are trying to charge a VSN fee this year.

Yes sir. Deeded the same and visible in the same Vistana account. I'll call to figure out what's going on. Nothing seems to work as it should with Vistana these days :)

If you click on the left side the link for E-Statement (or something to that effect), you can download the PDF bill for a full breakdown.
 
It's not loaded in yet, which gives me some hope that perhaps there is something wonky going on. In fact, it only offers my 2021 and 2022 statements. Earlier this week I saw my 2023 in there as well.

All WKORV VOIs should go up by the exact same percentage - so either wrong or others are not calculating correctly.
(Please do not include membership fees as they are not same for all - also do not include KOR Trust contribution)

How to calculate % change:
((2024MF/2023MF) - 1) x 100

2024 Membership fee dropped to $295 from $307 in 2023?

Truly stunning. Still no 2024 statement (but my 2023 one returned to my profile). I think we are reaching (reached?) the inflection point to where people are going to start heading for the exits. Marriott has proven themselves an untrustworthy steward and the value of these VOIs continues to decline.

I know it's a lost cause but is there anything we as owners can do to improve the situation?
 
My WKORV stmts are there, and the letter from the board part is blaming one third of the increase on Maui County bumping our property tax valuations up by 30% this year...
