Another TUG timely thread? We know or know of 5 people who died in Dec 24 and Jan 25 and my DIL knew the two men, the duck hunters, who were on the DC plane crash.
I am ready for a reset back to a happier time.

Back to the original post with the Instagram link about recurring pain diminishing slowly over time....
My beloved first husband died of cancer 48 years ago [he was 27; I was 25]. It was only after *40 years* that I realized the pain I had always felt on the anniversary of his death had changed to somber reflection; it took that long.
I imagine the pain button never goes away for many. For instance, I don't think I would ever have recovered from the death of a child....
