New scientific paper: offshore wind turbines alter marine eco-system, could shift ocean currents

I don't need to rehash the material in that article to "prove" anything to you. You are perfectly capable of reading it for yourself.

Maybe I should demand that you respond to how the climate industrial complex is wrecking Europe's economy.

But you can just chose to ignore that. I won't make the silly demands that you do.
The High Cost of Natural Gas is destroying Europe's economy
The marginal cost pricing based on Natural Gas is destroying Europe's economy
The money being spent to produce war material to counter Russia is destroying Europe's economy

You don't believe these are the causes
You would rather believe propaganda

I won't read your propaganda
You won't read the facts

I won't waste my time on further explanations

Your pathetic excuses just don't flush. The economic damage to Europe from the Climate Industrial Complex began and was evident long before the Ukraine War even started. The European farmers movement coined the term "Climate Communism" for EU climate policies and they hit the nail on the head. The new prime minister of the Czech Republic calls it "Green Madness" and he is also spot on.

What the "true believers" of the Climate Industrial Complex spew does NOT constitute "facts".

What about Migratory Birds and Creatures of the Oceans?

Offshore wind farms in the UK have been decimating the sea gulls and other birds.

Industrializing our oceans is bad policy and a degradation of our environment.

Here is the nub of the UK's current energy crisis. It has lots of proven oil and gas reserves in the North Sea but the present government pledged to give no drilling or exploration licenses for it and they have maintained that position in spite of the Ukraine and Iran complications. This is just another reason why Net Zero is "Net Stupid."

Solar Electricity is cheaper than subsidized Diesel
The Ultra Rich owners of the Big Mines in Australia are quietly switching to electrical trucks and trains
Cheaper than using Diesel Fuel
Even with the government subsidies on Diesel fuel

Diesel generators are an expensive way to make electricity. The state of South Australia installed a bunch of them as backup for when they experienced a wind drought on their wind turbines. That hit the electric bills of consumers.

Meanwhile, here in America, documented rejections of wind, solar, and batteries by local communities has reached 1,200:

I guess people figured out new ways to use agricultural property with solar panels
There is a beneficial outcome for the cows from the shade provided by the panels
The cattle grower gets more income from his land
The local area benefits from lower cost solar electricity

A win win situation for all

An article from the Wall Street Journal reposted on MSN
Discusses why people do not like living next to a coal plant in Texas

You have been told that coal burns clean

Some statistics from the article

Last year, Parish pumped out 36,000 tons of sulfur dioxide, 49% more than the prior year. Its emissions exceeded those in 43 states in 2025. The surge came amid rising power demand and a shift to coal as natural-gas prices rose. Only one other U.S. plant, the Labadie Power Station in Missouri, produced more sulfur dioxide. The colorless gas can harm the respiratory system of sensitive individuals, according to the Environmental Protection Agency.

NRG Energy, which owns the Parish plant, said it takes environmental and safety compliance seriously and that its emissions are within permitted levels.

Article is here

Wind and solar mean giving Communist China control over our energy, which is worse than when we were under the thumb of Middle Eastern oil sheiks.

I saw a guys way off grid hunting cabin where he is using four portable solar panels with some device that keeps lipo batteries and a portable jackery power station charged. They have a Starlink mini for internet. I think I might get a Starlink Mini. There are so many places up there with no phone service but the Starlink allows internet calling.

As far as using large solar arrays the cost is a gamble, imo. On an acre I could place maybe 1500 400 watt solar panels producing about 2,500,000 kwh a year worth maybe $240,000 a year. It would cost about $1,300,000 to build but plus additional $300,000 for loan costs. Maintenance and monitoring would be about $40,000 a year. Maybe another $20,000 for insurance. Maybe another $10,000 for whatever. Mortgage of maybe $132,000 a year. So over $202,000 a year leaving maybe $38,000 profit a year. Then when the mortgage is paid off the solar system would probably need substantial work or replacement.

That is if nothing went wrong, lol. In the private sector solar panel farms are too risky and do not generate enough profit, imo.

Does anyone have photos of a wind tunnel before it is loaded on a ship to be install in the ocean?

Norway is currently asking the EU to revise its policies on drilling for gas in the Arctic so it can expand the gas it is supplying to EU countries. They have a delegation of 12 officials at the EU office in Brussels on that subject right now.

And, of course, the high cost of European electricity, especially in Germany was there before the Ukraine war even started. It was stoked by the system costs of wind and solar.

The sale of Natural Gas to Europe has benefited Norway immensely

The Sovereign Wealth Fund of Norway is worth about 1.9 TRILION Dollars

This for a country of about 6 million people

The sales to the EU are done at world market prices

The sale of Natural Gas from Norway is no gift to Europe

TLDR from the tinfoilers: Only wind and solar (and any other non-carbon based energy source) kill wildlife.

Oil spills are my favorite! But nuclear accidents run a close second!
