Need Help - Never received my Owners Update gift

In late September, I attended a virtual Hyatt Vacation Club Owners update. The gift that was offered was a $200 Visa gift card or 35,000 World of Hyatt points. I chose the WOH point and was told it would take 4-6 weeks for them to appear in my WOH account.

It has been over 6 weeks, and nothing has shown up. I called the HVC preview number and was told I needed to speak with the "Gifting Resolution" department. (Who knew this was common enough to have a department that handles this?).

They gave me a phone number and e-mail address to the Gifting Resolution Department. I called them and the number no longer is in service. I sent an e-mail and never received a response. Does anyone have any advice on who to call, and speak with a human? Is there any other pathway I should pursue?

Thank you in advance for your advice and insights.

35K WOH points is worth pursuing.

Since you are an owner, I would call Hyatt Member services. I have worked with them on things i have escalated and they were great.

Would it be possible they did not tell the whole truth?? They are just hucksters trying to fleece their marks.

Even with certain unscrupulous sales tactics, Marriott Vacations seems to be one to come through with providing the presentation gift. I've had a couple times where our Marriott Bonvoy points didn't post from a sales presentation. I just kept on the sales office until they fixed it.

Similar to @dioxide45's experience, one time the Bonvoy points did not post right away. I contacted the initial sales person who reached out to me to set up the meeting (the personal concierge) and it took another 6 weeks to appear. They told me there was a delay and it was happening to several owners. I don't know how true that was, but the points did eventually appear.
