Hi Tuggers. Just wanted to check in after the first few days of our trip. I’ll write a detailed trip report after we get home.
We left Las Vegas on Monday evening, flew nonstop to London, changed planes, then flew on to Venice, arriving late Tuesday evening. The hired car was available to meet us, as expected, and brought us to Piazza le Roma, the last point where cars can go.
We walked to the hotel, and spent the next three days exploring the city.
We checked out this morning, and we’re currently on the high speed train to Florence. Yes, they have WiFi on the train.
So far, so good!
