Need a new tablet - Suggestions?

Yup, it doesn't make sense to keep doing this :wall:

Beats me why you and Ken give yourselves apoplexy over the constant iOS vs anything else- especially in light of the OP saying in post #1 that an iPad was out of her budget. Yet you go on and on and on like a certain pink bunny.

Put it to bed already! Anyone whose cares and whose temperature is above 95 and IQ is over 60 knows where you stand.

Oh, right. It was just the two of us continuing. How stupid of me to respond.

And for someone who supposedly has an IQ above 60 you don't seem to grasp that the OP's specific needs stopped applying to this thread a long time ago.

Whatever answer I give you will not satisfy you.

I could have typed your response myself. Thanks for not disappointing. ;)

C'mon, after so many of these threads I don't know why you think I should spend my time detailing answers. I respect your opinion but I know what works for hundreds of businesses first hand - and yes, some use Android successfully - but boiling down the conversation to specific items and trying to defend them doesn't help us or anyone else. Both solutions work if you dedicate time to them. There's nothing inherently wrong with either. And this is good news, in general, since we're close to parity between them for most people (not all applications).

Let's try not to belittle each other, eh?

The simple fact is, the choice of a Tablet is personal choice (trying to bring the thread back to the OP's question). I chose the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" because it was not as expensive as the iPad, actually less than $200 refurbished. I also like that it is similar to my Galaxy S3 phone, and it works nicely with my Ubuntu (Linux) 12.04, as Android is also Linux.

So, just like the choice between PCs, it's what YOU think, not what others do.
