My hot rod Lincoln

Yes! Here is my taking my ladies-to-lunch car, a 2017 Lincoln Continental. It had 28k miles when I received it last June. I think I am at 31K now. What a ride! I never expected to drive anything this nice. The heated seats! The heated steering wheel! The pick-up! This baby goes when you step on the gas. Such fun!

DW can't drive anymore. We decided to sell her 2015 Mazda CX5 and my 2010 Mercury Mariner and bought her a limo. I'm the limo driver of a red Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring plug in hybrid. The ride is so quiet and smooth, it really feels like a limo, so we named it Limo. I've never heard a car stereo that sounds as good as my home stereo, but Limo somehow manages to overcome the lousy acoustics of a car. I only buy gas once a month because the 110V charger can fully charge the hybrid battery overnight. She always wanted a red vehicle, but they never had what she wanted locally. Now she rides in style in her red Limo, and I'll take her anywhere she wants to go.

I still have my 2008 Infiniti M45X, fully loaded with all the options available at the time. It has the ATTESA all-wheel drive, so it operates as rear-drive in most situations. The big V-8 really moves it and the seats are so comfortable. I bought it new and it now has about 185,000 kms. (about 115,000 miles) on it. It handles beautifully and is a fabulous highway cruiser. The biggest issue now is finding certain parts for it. My daily driver is my late wife's 2016 Nissan Rogue SL AWD.

That's a sharp looking vehicle! I currently drive a Hyundai Santa Fe Plug in Hybrid with a similar battery range and love it. I've owned it for about 3 1/2 years and average 44-45 MPG. It's also quite quiet, even when the gas engine is running. I did install a 220 charger at my house awhile back and dropped the charging time from almost 11 hours to 3:45. That's helpful if I drive early in the day and can quickly charge it and have more battery usage later in the day. Unfortunately, Hyundai discontinued producing the PiH model and did a horrid redesign on the Santa Fe exterior. I hope to drive it another 5-6 years and will take a look at this as an option to replace it.

I had to take our 2022 Genesis GV-70 out in the ice and slush. It is a sure-footed beastie that gave us no issues on my trip to the podiatrist. It still has the OEM all weather radials which were on it when we bought it, so I'm really happy with our purchase.

Its predecessor, a Hyundai Genesis (which became the G80) was also a good car when I had to take it out in the snow, it had a new 50/50 weight distribution that really made it a great touring car.

The GV70 is a great looking and performing car.

Beautiful car. We still have the 2011 Lincoln and 2014 Jeep Compas. We don’t drive too far now that we are retired. We live in a golf cart friendly neighborhood but don’t have a golf cart.
