Multiple Hawaii units for same week in June of 2024?

What's the likelihood of me getting multiple units at the same place for the same week in June of 2024? I'm trying to get my family of 12 to Hawaii using my points in summer of 2024. I have RCI TPU.

Take a look at the Hiltons on the Big Island and see if there’s multiple weeks.

If that doesn't work (and I don't think it will; the Hilton deposits for the first half of 2024 were put in a while ago now), the next best shot is probably one of the Wyndhams on either Kauai or the Big Island. Bali Hai might be a good bet. You will want an ongoing search to make this happen.

@Naria2004. I am heading to Big Island with my group of 12 next week. I own HGVC and Diamond/HGV. I have booked Ocean Tower (studio via Diamond/HGV), Kohala Suites (2 BR- HGVC) and Bay Club (2 BR -HGVC). I made my reservations at the 9 month mark.

We are a family of 17, and I got 3 2-bedrooms unit booked here at the HGVC at Kings‘ Land booked for 2 weeks back to back.

1 unit booked for 2 weeks via HGVC owner booking. The other 2 units were thru RCI TPU’s exchanging into Kings‘ Land, so 4 total exchanges. I would say it’s doable, but very stressful making sure the stars (eh dates) line up for for 2 consecutive weeks.

Although I had to pay the daily resort fees for 2 units for 2 weeks each for exchanging thru RCI, it’s still worth it to finally have a family reunion with all family members present.

With only needing 2 units total for 12 people, it’s probably more achievable than having to line up 3 units, you just need to be on top of the HGVC sightings, and HGVC booking windows / timeline.

It might be too late using RCI TPUs if HGVC already did the bulk banking for June 2024, but if they didn’t already, I would say your chances are good for HGVC Big Island. Good Luck!

Unfortunately yes. RCI deposits to exchangers but does not allow HGVC members using points to book.

You can but you don’t have to. You can search available inventory and place an ongoing search using the web site if you’d rather. If you don’t have a ton of experience using RCI, this is a pretty good tutorial.

OK, so plans have now changed. Mom and sisters will be staying at the military resort (Hale Koa), leaving my family able to book a unit just for us, so a lot less stress.

I currently have 43 TPU. I'm looking for something near them in Waikiki/Honolulu. Is it possible to get something for 43 TPU? There are 4 of us (two adults, two teenagers) and we've learned we all do much better if there was some additional space to get away from each other, so a 2 bedroom would be ideal, but I'm scared to get my hopes up. I tried looking at the Distressed/Sightings page to get an idea of what units are going for, but couldn't find anything.

On a related not, is there any way to get more TPU (without buying an additional timeshare) if I'm still short?

You can bump up your trade power by depositing another future year, and then using Combine Deposits. Note that the expiration of the combination will be at most two years to the end of the month of the day you do the combination, so you would probably be losing some time on the newest deposit as well as paying some extra.

I did this very thing, booking three units at Kona Coast Resort, just down the road from my farm. My wife got to see her family. And best of all, they weren't underfoot the entire week.

I just called Interval and asked them. Took five minutes start to finish.
