two ebay user IDs found for the same seller????

Just found out that he has two user IDs on ebay,

"wantedweeks-com" and "wantedweeks"
The last user ID has state listed is in CO.
The first user ID has state listed is in FLA.

Both user IDs had just been changed in the last month to there current user ID.

"wantedweeks" user ID has alot of timeshares listed also.
Just more info to keep an eye on.

Do to some research by my wife via the BBB and web site registration we have found out that these two user IDs for ebay are linked to a company called " TIMESHARE RESCUE" in CO. Which i searched on the TUGS web site and have had some hits on.
They also have a couple BBB claims.
So i would guess that they are selling the timeshares that they have been paid to get rid of.

You probably bought at Grand Lakes on Irlo Bronson, but the ad is ridiculous and very misleading. Did he just go to the internet and post whatever resort came up that is called Grand Lakes? This guy has no idea what he is doing.

You guessed it. ;)

He's embarrassed and will understand if I don't want follow through on the purchase.

No Marriott :(

Update

I had several emails back and forth - was able to verify the ownership with the management company - had the contract change slightly. Requested an estoppal and will wait for that confirmation before I pay 2008 MFs.

So I faxed my documents back along with CC payment authorization ...

Will keep ya posted :hi:

Resort Transfer Services, Inc.

Thanks for starting this thread! I just ran across it after "winning" an EBay auction from wantedweeks.com for points at the Wyndham resort in Pagosa Springs, CO.

Please post anything you learn about the closing company. I don't mind using the company they prefer as long as it is reputable (i.e., insured and bonded). So far, I can't find out any information about this closing company.

Does anyone know if this company will perform the due diligence to complete the transaction (e.g., title search, escrow letter, etc.)?

Thanks in advance for any help.
Brian

That is pretty much what we surmised - that this was the end result of a PCC - so they sell for very LOW prices because they have already gotten their $3500 upfront from the original owner. What we are paying is the 'icing on the cake!'

wantedweeks = TIMESHARE RESCUE = Kristopher Chavez

It appears that Kristopher Chavez is the principal behind both of these companies. I would love to hear from someone that has closed the purchase of a timeshare from him and is satisfied.

If this guy is just a postcard company reselling, how sad that he convinced someone that Manhattan club is worthless and they paid to get it off their hands.

Well, I signed the contract with Wanted Weeks. It appears that they close their own sales. So the closing fee is really just extra sales proceeds to them. You get no escrow, no title search, nothing except that they prepare and record the deed and notify the Resort and pay the transfer and recording fees. I am not that happy with this part of the deal, but I got them to agree that I did not have to send them any money until after the transfer was complete.

Did they prepare the estoppel letter for you and send it to the resort? Did you see a copy of the letter that was sent to the resort?

I checked in with them too, they don't have my estoppel letter back either. I fell a lot better about this company after talking to them about the estoppel and what they will do to get the deal closed. They also said that they would help me try to use the points under their POA pending me getting them to show up on the resort system.

Spoke to Shaun at Wanted Weeks - deed went out to be recorded today.
Requested he send as email attachment the estoppal letter - I will follow up again on Monday if I do not receive it.

Anybody else with an update???

So I would assume that you would say that they are legit and besides the time they are not too bad to deal with? What I don't understand is how could they have a marriott on there so cheap and expect it to pass ROFR? What do you think?

Like a tape recorder, anyone who calls them, the clueless girls working at the title transfer company repeats "Deed went out for recording today." When you ask more questions, you will know that they are clueless and then they will consult with Shaun (while you are on hold) and maybe answer few questions.

They can not spell the names of the resorts correctly (either on ebay listings or on deeds that they are preparing). Be careful as they may be preparing "Quit claim" deeds as compared to the "warranty deeds" that they should be sending for recording.

I would say that the JURY is still out on these guys.

"The deeds in the mail" is hardly reassuring enough to say they are legit.

Wantedweeks.com

I recently purchased a timeshare from them. They sent a contract which I made some changes in which were quickly made and returned for completion. I had several phone calls and always received quick responses and follow-up on some items that required quick action.

So far they have been great to work with and will keep you advised as the transfer is completed.

wanted weeks

I just won an ebay auction with wanted weeks yesterday. They sent an email to me for my information for the contract but haven't been sent an invoice yet so I as yet have no way to pay for it. When I emailed with my information, I asked them to send estoppel. Have not heard back from them yet today. There were several errors in the auction listing. It was listed as a fixed week 3 when I know their units are floating except for weeks 51 and 52. The resort transfer fee was listed as $100 when it is actually $300. Both mistakes would be in my favor and the auction went for such a small amount, I went for it anyway. I'm glad I saw this thread before I went any further. Will keep you posted.

No escrow, no title insurance? So there is no "closing" right? There is just a seller typing up a deed. That sounds like a gamble, which may be worth it for $55.00, but is certainly not $500 worth of work.
