There's always some variance to ocean temps, but we were there in January a couple of years ago and we were in the ocean. The air temp and sun/cloud conditions make a difference too.

I'm not sure about Ocean Point but we just came back from Oceana Palms in early December.
Thanks Wanlord. I did just remember to pack my CCS adapter for the trip (we do drive a Tesla at home). Good to know about the chargers at Ocean Reef park. We have a presentation at Oceana Palms on Wed. AM so that might be a good time to go over and charge afterwards. We will be heading down to Delray Beach/ Boca Raton area for the last few days of our trip and I am always on the lookout for Wawa's for Super Chargers.
I only have a Chevy Volt, but have looked around the area last couple times I've been there for charging places. Not at Ocean Point, but there is a free Level 2 charger at Manatee Lagoon, which is pretty close. It's a FPL place and pretty neat (although seems more designed for school field trips). You can see manatees there and look over the water at the zillionaire houses.
Hopefully others can chime in for Ocean Pointe, if not you may want to call and ask what their policy is. Each resort seems to have developed their own policy with regard to packages. For other Marriott resorts where we have had packages shipped to us (Cypress Harbour), they would pretty much accept any package. If it arrived early you could pick it up when you checked in. We even had a package arrive after checkout and we were able to go over to the resort to pick it up (we were still in Orlando). Cypress Harbour told us there is usually a fee of $5 per package but owners (I guess MVC owners) get five free. We have seen other resorts with a $10 fee per package and the fee wasn't waived for owners.
I would call resort for their current policy.
Check directly with Ocean Pointe. I'm sure they have a list of qualified therapists, doctors, etc. from which you can choose. You can also check with your current doctor/therapist for a recommendation in that area.
Actually, the MF's for weeks are increasing more rapidly than MF's for points. My average increase of MF's at 6 resorts was over 15%, while the MF's for points increased less than 10%. My cost per point for a silver week at Ocean Pointe is now higher than trust point cost. This previously was my best value for cost per point, but that is no longer the case. Even without the large reserve increase, operating costs at OP went up substantially. I think that MVC management is trying to get more weeks owners to convert them to points. I would do it myself if it didn't cost me anything, but I know that will never happen.
Our home resort week 2023 MF increase average is well below 15%, more in line with the DC points MF increase of 8.91% (although the calculation on our European resort MFs is complicated by crediting the surplus from Covid restriction years).
My resorts are Mountainside. Canyon Villas, Newport Coast, Ocean Pointe, Oceana Palms, and Royal Palms. Their increases were 9-28%. I own a few gold weeks because we prefer traveling in the off season and the initial cost was much lower. If I had known the low level of points given for Gold weeks at many resorts, I would have paid the extra to get more platinum weeks. Owning trust points would be less expensive annually for me due to the low point value per week, especially Canyon Villas, Oceana Palms, and now Ocean Pointe.
What was your average MF increase percent without the Ocean Pointe outlier?
We were told by the GM that the assessment for the Sailfish roof is a one-off, Florida Coastal resorts now have to fully fund reserves and this accounts for a lot of the increase this year. He expected another increase next year to bring reserves up to 100 percent, then more flat in 2025. I may have my numbers wrong but looked at getting a 1 br Ocean Pointe in Jan 2024 and I think it was 4000 DC points. At. 68 a point that's 2700. Owners here tell me their non assessed maint fee for that is about 1800. That's a big difference.
