Ask for a room in the Iris building or any one other than Lily. The units in Lily are nice, but adjacent to a local public beach and subject to loud music on the weekends.
None of the Ritz Carlton properties are in II; outside of cash stays there are 3 main ways you can book those properties:
1) Own a Ritz Carlton fractional. You own at a specific resort and have as few as 3 or as many as 13 weeks a year that usually rotate. In addition, they have an internal exchange system only for RC fractional owners to get into either different resorts or possibly different weeks at your home resort from what you are assigned for that year.
2) You can book using Marriott Abound Club Points. Some of the properties have quite a bit of inventory owned by the Abound trust, some have very little, if any. In addition, many owners have the option to deposit weeks into Abound for the year in exchange for Club Points. Owner deposits are much harder to find than trust-owned inventory, as they can typically get much better value renting out their weeks for cash or by exchanging for stays at other luxury properties via option 3, including high-end vacation homes or other premium fractional properties.
3) Outside of 1 and 2, for exchanges my understanding is these properties are only accessible via ThirdHome.
