We have been pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza is at the Irish bar at Beachplace!

My daughter and her family are going to BeachPlace on an exchange I made thru Interval...I purchased a guest certificate..will she be entitled to free parking?
It was noted in another thread that perhaps starting in 2025, Beachplace Towers will align with how other resorts will start charging guests for parking. Timeshare based stays may now get complentary parking and only Marriott.com, Bonvoy, Encore and cash based guests pay for parking. Let us know if your daughter is charged for parking.

Following this thread as we will be staying there in April with my family. I have stayed near there, however never at this resort. I am really looking forward to it.

We just returned Sunday from 1 bedroom stay there for 5 nights for my husbands birthday. We also stayed for a week with adult daughter in late January 2024, in 2 bedroom. We did not rent a car either time, did not feel the need and do plan to return to stay for 2+ weeks in coming years and will not rent a car. We walked to publix and took the Circuit ( free, electric cart service in Ft Lauderdale, tips only) back to Beachplace. We walked to water taxi pickup and did happy hours/dinner (Shooters) off that and also ubered to meet friends nearby one night in Dania Beach. Highly recommend water taxi and holiday lights there, likely will still be lit up when you visit, since was for both our early Dcember visit and later January 2024 visit. We saw the before and after from the recent furnishing updates and found it more airy and light this time around, if that makes any sense, and very comfortable! We love Beachplace and plan to return, find it very walkable and staff and surrounding area both very enjoyable. Oh and the top floor Overlook Lounge ocean view is GREAT; we had high floor intercoastal view the first time and 5th floor ocean view this past time (shorter elevator ride) this time and can honestly say we enjoyed both, equally!

What did you do in Dania Beach ? We have stay at the Marriott’s Residence Inn and the night light without a car is a minus 10. IMHO

If you are a MVC owner, parking is now included (on the MVC parking floors). You take a ticket when you enter, then at the front desk they will give you a pass to use for exit and re-entry.

Also noted on the BeachPlace MVC website. (click, "View Amenity Details" then "Parking Information")
Marriott Vacation Club Owners receive complimentary parking.
One car per reservation only
Wow, good to know. Thanks!!!

One of thee weeks when we will be at MBP, we have a studio. Anyone have any suggestions about how we can enhance that experience? I saw where someone brought a toaster oven. Any suggestions are appreciated!

A toaster oven or even an Airfryer work well in a studio.

We go to BeachPlace every January, usually for 10 days,to celebrate my wife’s birthday…we always choose Intra coastal view and enjoy the view…we never rent a car but do use the Circuit ride to go to Publix as well as P.F. Chang’s across the street…We also take the water taxi down to Hollywood for a day trip to the beautiful beach there and a lunch at Margaritaville..and use the water taxi back to Fort Lauderdale..seeing the stunning mansions and mega yachts is quite a sight..We really enjoy BeachPlace..especially in mid January.

Depending on how long your daughter is staying, she should check out the cost of a month's parking pass on the lower floors rather than paying the BP fee. There is an office for the garage workers on the same floor you enter on. I used their month passes for some years, now we're able to park in the Marriott space for no cost. Frankly, it's a bit of a PIA to navigate to the upper floors, but it's not costing us anything so I put up with it. There are some good, and some very good, restaurants within walking distance . . . most of them in hotel properties. At the Westin there's a very good Mexican restaurant with terrific "Taco Tuesdays." A Peruvian restaurant is up closer to Sunrise Blvd - they are small and very good. If you want the names of the very good ones, let me know and I'll have to ask my wife <g> who keeps track of them.

My daughter and hubby were at BPT last December…they are familiar with the parking garage and restaurants…they will be returning for a week with a new member of the family..a son who will be a year old when they return in May 2025...hopefully,because its a II exchange, they wont have to pay for parking.
