I am going to be working remotely for three weeks at MBP Towers in January(my first stay there). I am looking for some recommendations:

Any thoughts on ideal floors to stay on? Ocean or Inter-coastal waterway?

Best restaurants in the area?

Best supermarket in the area?

Any “must do” sights to see?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. MPY

BeachPlace Towers has four of the worst elevators I have ever encountered (too much use due to not enough elevators) and the wait times are excessive. That said, I would recommend a low floor Villa so you can always utilize the stairways. I think the view to the rear is far more interesting than the Ocean Front view.

The garage parking isn't much better but I will save that conversation for another day.

Enjoy your visit!

Many of the restaurants on A1A are kind of cheesy and overpriced. We like dining on Las Olas. Louie Bossi has a nice scene and good food. Get a water taxi pass and cruise the intercoastal. You can hop on and hop off. Total fun

We liked the inter-coastal views better because it is more peaceful and no vehicles traffic or noises from A1A.

Publix is probably the go to supermarket in the area.

For Urban dwellers, the parking in BPT is like any big building
Tight, curvy, tricky to find the entrance the first couple of times
Requires going through a couple of swing arms to get to the upper floor where BPT has parking
If you are not familiar with big building parking it can be a challenge of patience

Many people pay to park in the lower floors of the parking garage. These are not owned by Beachplace Towers HOA and tend to be cheaper. The same set of elevators takes you up to the resort levels. You just need a room key to get there.

Thanks for the advice. Where do you pick up the water taxi relative to MBP? I also heard about the “water trolley.” Is the trolley something you used?

The water taxi is right behind MBP, it is walkable, less than a 15 minutes walk.
