This is my video (flash flood) taken at my condo complex next to I-4 and the St Johns River (Debary FL) at 3am Thursday. I am on the second floor, all of our first floor condos had about 1/2 inch flood water coming in. Essentially, however many inches of rain fell, it fell on approximately 18 acres of interstate pavement and rolled downhill to our complex on its way to the river. It also washed out our sidewalk and part of the pool patio. But, it's not done, all those millions of gallons of rain water that Milton dropped is going to raise the St Johns (and other) Rivers by a few more feet over flood stage.

We haven't heard from our friends who have a little home/cottage on Anna Maria Island since they arrived after hurricane Helene which left about 15 inches of sand and mud throughout their house. They spent days trying to clean up and throw stuff out, then they fled to the Miami area to stay with relatives while hurricane Milton passed through and said they wouldnt be surprised if there was nothing left of their place. They weren't due to come home until mid-November, I am afraid to email and ask how things are.
