Luky 987 / SellTimeshare.org / Pacific Transfer

I have bought several in New Orleans but mostly through Sumday and one through Groupwise. All were completed in less time than a typical Marriott transfer. I wouldn't consider a New Orleans purchase through a bad reputation company no matter what.

I have had several successes from Luky and the gang but I had one that took 7 months and I have another that is at 7 months with no end in sight. In both cases it was because they did zero due diligence on the deed before they tried to offload the timeshare. I won't consider further timeshare purchases from this group that hides behind fictitious companies. I got lucky on a few initially but now it is more trouble than it is worth.

My experiences seem to be mixed as of late. My August Luky purchase which had disappeared in the bowels of Pacific Transfer I took care of myself - and they still do not know. The recorded deed which needed to have a Town transfer tax paid before the Developer accepted it - I paid it myself and had it accepted by the Developer. My September purchase, paid in full to Pacific Transfer in California, oddly recently got transferred to In Less Times Closings in Youngstown, Ohio. I actually received an e-mail from them saying that they are working the transfer. Another mysterious Grey Wolf subsidiary? You're right - not worth the hassle.

Actually In Less Time is legally separate. They learned their lesson using Pacific Transfer which could be traced back to Grey Wolf and David Macmillan. That said, I found no evidence of In Less Time operationally existing in Ohio. I found the legal owner of In Less Time who appeared to likely having been paid a fee just to be the "owner" of this "new" company. This person is a young single mother with no means or knowledge to be the owner of anything remotely related to a timeshare transfer operation. Oddly enough this ownership model is very similar to the legal owner of selltimeshare.org who is also a young single mother which no means or knowledge of the "operation". Who can you sue if something goes wrong? These "owners"?

I was told by the guy answering the phone for selltimeshare.org that all in process purchases have to be completed by Pacific Transfer who is completely separate from the new "In Less Time" company. I just so happen to receive status updates from In Less Time on a transfer being completed by Pacific Transfer. The emails were in the exact same format except for the company name change. To me it is obvious that these two "companies" are really the same thing.

I am surprised they are allowed to legally operate in this manner but it could be they are not breaking any laws or they stay one step ahead. Eventually something should be done but I have a feeling the ones actually responsible will be shielded and/or with plenty of defense funds.

I just won an auction from him for a very small contract with seller paid closing and transfer. Got the request for info within hours. Lets see if the rest follows. since I wanted a small contract to add my kids to our wyndham account I decided to risk the $41.

It has now been 3 weeks since I paid the $41 and no communication. Not unusual yet. I should note that my closing is being handled by In Less Time Closings, llc with a Youngstown Ohio address.

No excuse for this, they should have acknowledged your payment the same day or the next at the latest.

What a way to run a business!

I received an acknowledgement the same day the check was cashed. I should have said no status communication. Other purchasers have sent me updates after 2 weeks, 2 had the deed completed within 2 weeks (not the Wyndham transfer, just the deed)

wwptshares?

Is wwptshares part of this group? They say they use In Less Time Closings to handle their closings.

I used to be convinced that wwptshares was a separate operation and they just ripped off selltimeshare.org's ebay template but if they are both using In Less Time I would lean towards them being the same outfit. BBB lists both of these companies with the same address and suite number which is really a private PO box disguised as a real physical location. BBB is not official so it is hard to be sure. Sunbiz does not show this address for wwpt and instead reflects a Las Vegas address.

wwpt was previously not using the same closing company as selltimeshare.org. It is interesting that they would both now be using the same system.

Nobody should ever kid themselves that In Less Time is an actual independent closing company. It does look like they have a different address now so I am looking into whether it is actually a brick and mortar operation. When they first started the address was a residential location.

The address was changed on 10/31/13 to the new address. Previously it was what looked to a be a run down residential structure.

I purchased through EBay a Wisconsin Dells timeshare in December of '13. It
Was with Wwptimeshares, never heard of them and it was $2.00 so I thought
I'd give it a try. I was in Hawaii at the time and as soon as I got back I emailed
Them back the contract and the signed deed. After two months went by with no
Update. I emailed and asked where we were with the transfer. They said that
We're waiting on the sellers to return the signed deed. They said the weather
Has been bad. I returned with an email stating that consider this email as a
Cancelation of the offer. They tried to appease and make a reservation for me
But I told them I'm done. Saw it was re listed and closed for sale of a $1.00
Yesterday. They even gave a $200 gift card as incentive this time.

I won't go through that again.

Was this wwptimeshares or wwptshares? The one I'm looking at is wwptshares.

Yep, sorry, it was wwptshares.

So, I thought I'd post an update - since I started this thread back in September 2013.

Communication was non existent with Pacific, once I had paid my money......no returned emails or calls

Back during the winter, Pacific had a message on their phone system to call a different phone number regarding closings in process.

I called and finally reached somebody -I think at "in less time closings. "

They sent out some new documents to sign and get notarized.

I followed up a couple of more times and finally I got an email saying that they could not complete the deal and would be refunding my purchase price ( now some nine months later).

So, I received and deposited that refund.

So, things improved a little when their closing company changed names (it may very well be nearly the same outfit just renamed though)

Obviously this outfit is not a shining example of efficiency.

I have commented on this 'seller-closer' several times with the honest hope that not only every potential buyer goes running for the hills before they go through what I have but that somewhere out there is a legal response that shuts these scammers down and puts a certain David in jail.

Here's a concluding update to my situation: Purchased a luky timeshare in September 2013 off eBay; 10 months of threats, dozens of unreturned calls, Attorney General involvement and a cryptic transfer from Pacific to Inlesstime closing company in February (they're all the same folks!).........ta da!!!!!!

In June 2014 I get a check for a full refund of my purchase price (that I sent to them almost a year ago!). Wow, finally a resolution to my nightmare. Not so fast......the ~$1,500 Pacific Transfer (yes, to them from InlessTime Closings again) check bounced like a World Cup soccer ball on June 5th. More threats and another check which has yet to bounce.......yet.
YMMV: but I doubt it and warned you.
