I have heard this, too. My twenty-something daughter uses "haha". ;)

The "HAHA" is old .. usually was used when a less mature person would make some suggestion to a parent that was NOT GOING TO HAPPEN ... like,

"Can you drop me off at the Mall around 9PM and pick me up when I call you?"

reply would have been ... "HAHA".

Hey Linda, I'm old too....haha / ha / LOL

"LOL" was so overused it became meaningless - not to mention annoying.

I think "haha" has been more popular for a couple of years, and it doesn't seem to get over used the way "LOL" was.

From the get go; I used "he he he" or "heh heh heh".....Maybe this will work

LOL is much quicker to type than HAHA (which I haven't heard, but I'm probably too old.....ROFLMAO).

I always used to use Ha Ha. Then Facebook came along and Lol was the in thing. Now that I have gotten used to that, it's going to be hard to change back.

Facebook is not cool anymore. Now its snapchat. My 20 year says FB is so rachet.

I heard it's not cool to say 'cool'!

I think this thread is peachy. ;)

Cheers

Now, now, now ... really? I think NOT!

Another version of "Ain't happening."

The old ways of saying ... NFW.

Haha! As opposed to the evil laugh:

"Mwahahaha!"

Or the gut-bursting belly laugh:

"Bwahahaha!"

All this talk is making me <smile> .
