I was informed by a member of the much younger generation; It's not cool to use LOL anymore. (laugh out loud)....The new thing is "ha" or "haha" So how do u like that......haha

I have heard this, too. My twenty-something daughter uses "haha". ;)

The "HAHA" is old .. usually was used when a less mature person would make some suggestion to a parent that was NOT GOING TO HAPPEN ... like,

"Can you drop me off at the Mall around 9PM and pick me up when I call you?"

reply would have been ... "HAHA".

"LOL" was so overused it became meaningless - not to mention annoying.

I think "haha" has been more popular for a couple of years, and it doesn't seem to get over used the way "LOL" was.

From the get go; I used "he he he" or "heh heh heh".....Maybe this will work

LOL is much quicker to type than HAHA (which I haven't heard, but I'm probably too old.....ROFLMAO).

I always used to use Ha Ha. Then Facebook came along and Lol was the in thing. Now that I have gotten used to that, it's going to be hard to change back.
