I found DRI Hawaiian Trust points for sale early last year - I ended up purchasing them. I paid ALL the 2025 fees. Before the contract was sent to Hilton, the agent asked what I wanted to do with the 15K points for 2025. I ended up having the previous owners move them into 2026. The contracts were finalized and sent to Hilton (6/30/25). It took them over 5 months to send a welcome letter but it did hit my email on 02DEC25. When the points didn’t come into my account, I called my Centum+ Concierge. She gave me info weeks later - still 2025. That the points would be available in 2026. The points did not automatically appear in January, I had to persistently call, and email. They showed up around 06JAN26 - it was 15K for the year 2026 only. What happened to the 15K from 2025?

I have been email, calling my Concierge and finally she came back with an answer today 15JAN26.

There is a “Policy” that only affects the sale year (2025). Points from that year can only be transferred to a familial relationship. That policy does not affect 2026. Have I lost anyone yet?? My Lawyer had never heard of this.

I was given an email (incorrectly) eventho I called to verify the email. It is club support! C@hgvc.com - I’m sharing this with the forum - just in case you ever feel you want to escalate an issue. This email address has an automatic response which writes - Your email has been received - expect an repsonse in 2 days.

I’ve included my lawyer in all communications with this department. She has unanswered email from last week with the title department - I do as well. So - the only email which is monitored in the C@hgvc.com (Club Support).

Remember, Hilton had 5 months to review and reject the contract or stipulate new policy rules towards it - Neither I or my Lawyer received anything from the company in over 5 months - until the 02DEC25 welcome letter.

Just so everyone gets this… The Club Support email is HGVC - It’s not a DRI email! It’s one big gigantic octopus that thinks they’re a separate company and different policies exists - but it just another way to Lie, Cheat, and be Crooks!

I wonder if the 2025 points "expired" before they were able to get into your account? You should of had the option to save them but when 2026 hit, and they weren't in your account, they just went away. I have never heard of familial only points transfer.

Neither had my lawyer. If only i had timely access to my account, I could have said something - WHICH i did NOT in 2025. I just didn’t know i had missing points until the year passed.

True. That was very bad timing for it all to be completed.

Ask your lawyer to contact Hilton for this written policy and the date it was written ?

Also, was this policy disturbed / communicated to all Hilton timeshare owners and the date this policy went into effect?

So…When my lawyer finally gets a returned email from the title department, she will ask those questions! She has been unanswered since Friday - 7 days!

Timeshare companies are always looking to swindle resale buyers out of points. Wyndham is notorious, they also steal your money on a resale transfer too. This is what pushes resale prices to $0, though the timeshare companies like that. At least when they want to use ROFR. I just don't understand the desire to devalue the resale product so much. Does it really make buying direct look that much more attractive.

Wow, feel for you. That is super-opaque way to lose them. I have to say that my "Risk/Reward Radar" would not let me do that. Why? This: "“Policy” that only affects the sale year"! Big companies love love LOVE to bungle transitions.

It came up in the negotiation for 1 of the HGVC deeds I bought. Nope, not buying pts I have worry about rolling over, even at a discount.
My motto Re; Pts & Miles = "Use em or Lose em. Don't hoard 'em."

sounds definitive. If you spend this much $$ with them, I can't believe they won't eventually get it right. Even if they do, the headaches are part of the RISK there

Update!

Got the email from TitleTransfers regarding my missing 2025 points on a resale contract I purchased in 2025. The Contract was sent to HGV in mid-June 2025. I received the email welcoming me into HGV on Dec 2, 2025.

The missing 2025 15k point were deposited into my Max/Cabo Azul account today - thus eliminating the DRI/Hawaii account. This makes it easier to use the points from 1 account.

I couldn’t be happier - thank goodness!

Congratulations, you finally received some information. Good luck.

I'd like to say - that was the EOS!

BUT...

Six days after HGV (titletranfers) reinstated the 2025 points, an email was generated saying I owed them for these additional points. Every person said. the bill was not an error and indeed I was required to pay this bill.

LSS - with a lot time spent pleading my case. The bill had been paid. It was for 2026 and not the 2025 (they said it was). The lied about the invoice for 1 month. Finally the person at titletransfers who reinstated the 2025 points said I am current on all maintenance fees for both 2025 & 2026 and my account shows a $0.00 balance.

While the billing issue is only 1 month old - the saga started with the missing points in Jun 2025. My question is... do think it is unreasonable to ask for HH points compensation and what level of comp would you ask for on an issue lasting 9 months?

Defer to others but I would just be glad the nightmare is over & move on...
Hate to waste more precious time with these morons, lest they screw you again...
