Let's Play Connections

Apparently found a few of my forte's.

I don't even see overlaps between categories. Thanks connections for an easy Saturday morning.

Yeah, pretty easy one today.

Yes, a very fast perfect today and I knew them all.

By the skin of my teeth today... a little off track but I got there. Looking at this graphic, I was off on everyone of them and got the purple by default, lol.

* I first tried NICKEL instead of TIN. Didn't realize TIN was in the periodic table (or forgot it was).
* Then grouped PENNY in with LUCKY stuff (instead of moon) - so I was sort of but not quite on the right path
* Got the AND by default but at least it makes sense once I see it

Two missteps early on, last one by default only. Not a good showing.

Very impressive @billymach4. My path was similar to @Sandi Bo. It took me a while and a couple wrong turns but I got there.

One miss this morning and I didn't know the last one again.

Was tougher today for last 2 groups.
By chance I got 3rd group but not for the right reason. 4,the group only by default, again...

I don't know if I agree with perfect, but I got there.

I thought I was onto something with NAKED but had to google MOLE RAT to check.
Never heard of CHEDDAR (for money).
And was guessing that CHUNKY is a choc bar.

Holy cow! I had no freaking clue what the purple and blue were.

Chunky was my favorite as a kid. Raisins and nuts in a “chunky” square rather than a bar. There was a scandal when rat poop or bugs or both was found in them, and they disappeared and/or fell out of favor for awhile. If you’ve ever had a Cadbury Fruit & Nut Bar (which I buy regularly when at CVS), that’s similar in taste to Chunky.

I bombed out too on the last two categories.
I was sorta on the right track for the blue one, but couldn't come up with the 4th item...had never heard of that word being used that way.

Tough for me today. I got the easy but couldn't get the tougher ones. Struck out. Rick got them with no mistakes. Go figure.

Hmm. You're not making me want to run out for a Chunky bar. :ROFLMAO:

One miss and got the purple by default again.

Well at least I got that over with, LOL!

I never notice before - if you try the same things twice it will tell you for a quick few seconds, at the top, that you already guessed that.

Glad I got it over with... Not for me today. I could see the bike parts, but used 3 tries eliminating peddle from that group. I was kind of onto something thinking verbs - or things that were present and past tense - ish - so included MALT in with some of those other synonyms to SELL (the verbs). HA... that's my brain dump for the day. Wordle gave me a hard time, too. Maybe I should go back to bed.

I got them but it wasn’t easy. And, as usual, I had no clue of the purple connection.

Bombed today, and I’m shaking my head at myself.
I saw the aquatic mammals, but didn’t like dolphin because they don’t have fur. Saw the bicycle parts, and apparently kept picking something wrong. I got so tangled in those, didn’t have a chance to move on; I think the synonyms for selling would have come together if I hadn’t been so bamboozled by my early flameout!

2 misses today but I got it and I still didn't know the purple one. I got it by default again.

I crashed and burned. i knew a couple more of the categories but couldn’t get the right combinations. Sheesh!
