Let's Play Connections

I got the last group by process of elimination.
I correctly thought of the association for one word in last group but couldn't make the connection to the other 3 words. Today's game maker is really stretching on this category! :unsure:

I got the other groups on lucky guesses on the 4th words. I knew only 3 words for sure on a couple of groups.

Barely squeaked that one out. All of a sudden I got one more and the rest fell into place. I didn't know the last group again.

PHEW is right. Yesterday, after a quick glance I couldn't put anything together and never got a chance to get back to it. Looking at Faith's comments, I think I had the grouping but couldn't put 4 into anyone of them. I almost went for the candy with Bounty.

So this morning I went for it, lol.

I did have to google types of mustaches and again if a walrus was a type of mustache. I thought I had the tusk thing, but needed to figure out which to eliminate. Oh, and had to google flan to make sure it was desert :)

I got a perfect and I actually knew the first three categories without guessing, I only knew half of the reason the last four were connected but it didn’t matter since they were the only ones remaining. :D

I bombed today, just couldn't get the right grouping for the 3rd category. I knew the category, but there were 5 words with the same feature. I needed to know the last category, which of course I didn't.
 
Took a bit but I finally did know them all.

Ha... Roman numerals? I had no idea what... only that I thought the other 2 categories were TOMS and COUNTRIES and it left those mix of I wasn't sure what - pickles or salsa is what I was going for.
Missed on the Toms and I guessed Tom Poland instead of Tom Holland.

One mis-step and recovery. I thought the purple category, which once again I didn’t know what the connection was, was rather clever!

Hmmm. I bombed but I think there may be a problem with the Beta version of the game. I know I entered the blue category correctly but it wasn’t accepted. I remember someone a few days ago saying they had entered the correct connedtion and it wasn’t accepted. It probably wouldn’t have save me as I was pretty clueless on a couple of them.
 
I knew 3 categories, but again not the last. Would never have gotten it looking at word meanings.

It would be nice if they showed us what we've already guessed. I guess I could keep track, but I want them to do that for me.

A perfect early this morning. I got 3 really fast and I figured out the last one before I grouped them too.
 
Perfect. The first one was easy. I eventually figured out the next two. I had no clue the connection of the last group.

Yes today was easier. I got all 4 categories too, even the 'hardest' purple one before the blue one.
 
I like to look back but we all don't need to post the solution, if I post it I'll tag like I did here?
Easy one for me today, makes up a little for the wordle torture.
