The easiest way is to contact Wyndham and see if they will take things back via Certified Exit.

I would do that sooner rather than later, because this part:

is something that Wyndham may eventually take exception to. And if that happens, your divestiture is going to be a lot more complicated.
I agree, you should talk to Wyndham first.
1) verify the deeds are in your name
2) see which contracts they will take back. (search for threads on Certified Exit)

Sorry for you loss.
I also urge you to use some of the points.

My calls to Certified Exit have been good - they'll look at your account and tell you if they'll take the contracts back or not, easy conversation, good information so you know what your options are.

If you didn't retitle any of your contracts and can just decline to inherit - I would think that is best. I think that would provide for the most graceful exit. If you go Certified Exit, you'll have to cancel any existing reservations (that your rental associate may have booked, etc, could get ugly). And you have to pay maintenance until the process completes. That is my concern (dislike) with Certified Exit - the time it takes for them to take back or change names, etc. Overall I think it's a decent program, I just don't like the part about reservations needing to be cancelled and paying maintentance fees while they slowly complete the process of taking them back.

This may be a good time to figure things out. I'm thinking use all your 2024 points asap - all early in the year reservations (very doable). You can also borrow from next year for some end of year reservations (that window is closing quickly). My point being use those 2024 points and then give back in whatever means you decide to do. I would think with a little planning and stipulations to use the points by Feb/March you would fairly gracefully exit it all and have the maintenance fees covered til the process completes.

My condolences about your parents. Thankfully your parents had something set up to at least cover the maintenance fees while you work through this.
