You are correct, Fasttr. I filed a claim with TravelEx for my Crystal Shores legacy week as well as a week reserved with points last October after my reservations had been canceled by MVC due to Hurricane Ian. I received a check approximately 30 days after filing for the maintenance fees for both weeks. I informed the TravelEx CSR by phone that I was unable to use the holding points that had been returned to my account before the end of the 2022 calendar year. After being reimbursed by TravelEx for the points’ maintenance fees, MVC removed the points from my account.I believe there were reports of the MVC insurance covering MCS cancellations last year, and upon the insurance company's decision to cover, the insurance company contacted MVC and the points were removed from the owners Holding Account.
