Thanks for your service Bill. Iam just glad I still have a full head of hair.

And Thank You Allen for your service. I'm glad to still have hair too even if it is changing color, lol.

As David Crosby would say:

Almost Cut My Hair
Happened just the other day
It's gettin' kind of long
I could've said it was in my way
But I didn't and I wonder why

I've been cutting my husband's hair for close to 10 years now. Because he's the one who goes out to do our shopping he shaved off his beard and mustache because he realized how much he touches his face. He usually has me cut his hair short but decided to let it grow out while we are stuck at home. He has the kind of natural curly hair that I would love to have.

After the second summer in Florida I let my hair get longer so I can put it up or in a ponytail. I learned that having a shorter hair style that takes some work isn't practical if you are active and sometimes showering more than once a day. DH was happy because he always liked my hair longer. I usually end up deciding when I get out of the shower and am brushing out my wet hair that my bangs or all of it needs cut and don't want to wait to go in to get my hair cut. I trim my own bangs and when the rest gets longer I have my husband cut the back where I can't reach. It took some convincing to get him to do it because he was worried he'd mess up somehow. I told him to just use the side pieces I already cut as guides and just cut straight across from them. We have a really big mirror in our bathroom and I stand with my back to it using a hand mirror to watch and assure him he's doing fine.

I feel the women salons and barbers shop owners are not happy in Virginia right now. They are mainly self employed with no income for now five (5) weeks. I hope they can receive this stimulus unemployment money.

If you are used to doing it yourself great. Many of us aren't. And yes I know you're going to ask why we don't just do it all ourselves. Maybe we're just girly girls. ;)
I couldn't stand the brassy undertones I had when I did it myself (medium brown). Even though it's pricey I love the way my color looks when it is done professionally. So for now I am using a color spray on my roots, but only when I go into my office or do a zoom meetup.

Agree! I saw something on the news today that the payroll protection stimulus is out of $ already. None of this is easy but it's much harder for some.

Try a color with an "A" which has Ash grey undertones. Your hair won't be grey, but it might be a bit "dull" for a week or so. This cuts out the brassy. If I used anything else I would look like a carrot.

I bought my wife 20+ boxes of her color at Overstock a couple of years ago. I think it was a Revlon product. She asked if I could buy some more as she was on her last box. Revlon discontinued it. So I bought her something else. Another Revlon product but it isn't the same exact color. We will see how that goes, lol.
