How much is gasoline in your area?

Well, it looks like US average gas prices are now up back up to being higher than 12 months ago:

Most of the prices by me in CO were $2.69 last week, all those places are $3.19 this week.

$2.86 for regular gas per gallon at Costco Newport News,Va., today.
$3.46 for premium gasoline per gallon.

I have seen $3.10 for regular gasoline at some Seven Elevens gasoline pumps in Newport News, Va today.

Shot up to $3.05.

Seven Eleven $3.19 regular gallon In North Suffolk, Va this morning.

Still looking for that $199.9 gas. Up almost a quarter in the last 4-5 days (no mystery there) to around $3.20

$2.72/gal at Costco in St. Augustine this morning.

Edited to add: It was as low as 2.56/gal here a few weeks ago. For the past several months, it has bounced between $2.60 and $2.85 at Costco. Buc-ee's and Gate have bounced between $2.90-$3.10.
We're on a short snowbird adventure in St Augustine

Tuesday: Costco was 2.62. Most stations 2.99, Sunoco 2.79
Wednesday: Rolltydr's report of 2.72 at Costco
Today, Thursday: Gasbuddy says Costco is 2.82, most other stations 3.29, which is a 30-50 cent hike over last week. This seems like a bigger hike than other places.

Since we're focused on gas prices, another interesting aspect to this is HOW LONG we'll have higher gas prices.
And then there is the question of how high will it go. I saw some predictions as high as $6-7, which would be an economic disaster. :( I don't think it would get that high, but nothing is out of the question depending on how this war escalates.

I just filled up in Vista CA and it was just under $5 a gallon. This might be down from last year because I think I paid close to $5.60 last year.

I asked a friend/ manager of a BP gasoline station; why he has increase regular gas from $2.56 per gallon to $3.19 per gallon since Wednesday?…He stated his gasoline prices are dictated by Corporate.

Someone is making a nice profit.

Picked up my new Kia Niro PHEV a few weeks ago. This is a 2025 replacing my 2018. It gets about 10 miles more electric range which is nice, so about 35 total. It would be ideal with 50, but what can you do? Still on the first tank of dealer supplied gas. MPG meter registers 485 mpg at the moment.

Filled up yesterday at Exxon in NW Houston 2.59/gallon

Still $5.89 here on Molokai. Been for about three years now. Lol

Gas prices are up in Denver, $3.29 at our favorite station. I hope the prices go down. We are flying in a few days to catch a cruise out of Puerto Rico.

Seven Eleven this morning $3.19 per gallon in Suffolk,Va…It is just amazing that no major gasoline companies did not have any gasoline on reserve prior to the war in the Middle East. IMHO.

The may have had and still have oodles (a very precise, technical term) of gas on reserve. But now they have an excuse to charge higher prices. And they're sure as heck gonna use that excuse. :)

Costco gasoline is Top Tier gasoline and I can understand the higher costs.

However, Costco’s gasoline stations sells more gasoline than your average gasoline stations.

Yep grew up next door to a man that drove gas transport, all the storage was full during the 1970's gas shortage .

Exactly!! The gas they're selling you know has been in the U.S.A. for at least a few weeks. They didn't pay the current price for the gas they're selling you now.

The reason that they charge $X.5x/gal for gasoline that they paid $X.2x/gal is that they will may have to fill their tanks @ $X.6x/gal(retail). It's a cash flow balancing game.
