Can someone do a detailed post about limitations and restrictions of buying holiday inn vacation club resale?

I found one of those posts for vistana after purchasing from the developer I was able to rescind and buy directly from somebody on this site.

looking for the same regarding holiday inn vacation club because they seem to be the only timeshare company that has resorts close to home.

Thanks

You need to be careful buying HICV as most locations revert back to a fixed week. You do not get points in the point system. You have to buy back into the point system.

I do not recall the names of the 2 resorts that are automatically included in points, even on resale. I do not know if New trust purchases revert back on resale.

Someone can chime in, but proceed with caution.

So it is 3 resorts. I knew someone would know.

What about new trust purchases, are they pure points or are they backed up with deeds at resorts. Assuming revert to deeds, but asking anyway.

HICV has its own section here in the

with a bucket load of information.
I recommend you learn all you can before you buy.
The trust is a “new” thing, we are all learning about those.
