Hilton Unified website [merged]

'm still not able to search destinations after logging in. are others still seeing issues after login?
 
i had tochange my password but now everything seems the same as before.
 
As an SVC/Wyndham points owner, we’ve previously been able to use our points or sometimes go through RCI and book some blue green resorts. Now that that they will be HGVC I wonder if we will still have availability?

No I thought I had a good password but no special character and not quite long enough.

I agree MVC and Vistana are bad but this is not going well for me. Both Hilton and Marriott seem to have assumed you are only on one side of the merger.

In this video I go through the list of new enhancements. The one that I am most excited about is open season credit. As a Premier+ member that means I get $700 which is about half of one of my 11,000 point contracts maintenance fees. I expect to be able to book close to a week free in a studio each year.

I tried to use the open season credit and I was told it didn't apply at the resort where I wanted to use it. Sadly I am expecting that it will be like the $100 resort credit. I've never been to any of the resorts where the credit is valid. I have asked for a list of resorts where it applies from a supervisor at customer service. She said it is not available.

I still was as of yesterday. I think the "new account" needs to be activated. they send a link through email to activate it. The lady who set up my new account didn't tell me this, so I didn't look for the email, the link expired, and the result is an account that doesn't have "privileges". That is what I was told. They are still working on mine. Guess I'll go back soon to see of it is "privileged" yet.

Yes, new P/W has to be 12 or more characters. The site did not make that clear. Mine was 9, and thus the issues began. Called them, the lady told me, we got new PW for "new" account but then she didn't tell me about "activating" it.
and I continue to get emails from "DiamondResorts.com". Maybe diamond had better quality IT staff than HGVC had, so they're handling the new code?

Don’t see why not. HGV is associated with RCI and I’m sure they will put units there.
 
I finally gave up on the Hilton side as I was looking for an Open Season also. Engaged a Chat person (Finally!) and in the middle of it, everything disappeared. No excuses, no apology, no explanation. The DRI side (yup, I'm also an Unwashed, but semi-civilized since I own a Hilton deed also) was v e r y s l o w but worked ok, just slow.
Someone is going to get stiffed with the "re-evaluation" of the points values. Wonder who? I just added an asterisk to my old password and that at least worked.
 
What ticks me off are websites that prohibit me
from using a password "similar" to one I used B4.
No one broke the old one, so why?

I also get ticked about having to change every few
months. It was a perfectly good password until now.

Do you mean a re-eval for the BlueGreen merger? I am Max and I thought I would be able to move points from Diamond to Hilton within the 6 month period. No, not allowed. I can move points from Hilton to Diamond, but not the reverse. I thought they "harmonized" the point values by putting a multiplier on the Hilton side. Are you saying another multiplier is coming?
 
For those who have Max with Trust Points (Old Diamond) and Legacy, at login-do you show one account or two? I have BHC and Legacy (no Max) and show one account. If two accounts, when Max window opens, how would you make a reservation or search in Max and use your total available points (Trust and Legacy) to make a Max reservation? Considering adding Max but only interested if my Legacy points are available to be used during the 6 month Max reservation period.
 
I converted to Max and you can use your points just like before. However there are different pools of points. You only get the leftovers with Max from the Hilton side if you are a Club (Diamond Resorts) owner.

Thx. I guess it operates like my BHC Pool and Club Points. If I am within the booking window for both, I can choose which pool to draw my points. I want to make sure MAX works the same way under the Unified Website before I pursued an upgrade.

And presumably the same for DRI resoorts coming from the HGVC side. Leftovers. The reason I have no interest in joining Max.

When I just logged in today, I have to select my account. I only have one account HGVC.

Edited to add: This might be good because it will now be much easier to figure out which club someone is in. For me anyways, it doesn't help when someone states that they are [only] in HGV Max.

After seeing your post I logged into my single HGVC account (with HGVC and bHC points), and did not have to select anything. I was just brought in to a page the same as before. (I waited for the post to be moved to this thread before responding :)).

I too did not have to choose an account. I'm only resale so I wonder if that's the case. (I couldn't remember is either of you were all resale or had bought developer at one point).

It might be a feature of 2FA then because I just enabled that.
 
so far i have had no issues with my account or ability to logon.

My personalized picture is missing from my profile, but thats not a big deal
