Hilton Club NYC

Can someone explain to me how this property works? How do people other than owners book there as it doesn't show up in my list of bookable NY properties (I'm legacy HGVC)? If you do own there, can you use your points at other locations or just at this location?

I can picture the Herb N Kitchen but not a place for table service. Hmmm...

I assure you it's there, I just checked, and they still list it as open for breakfast and brunch on Hilton.com and even show a picture or two of the buffet section. My wife hurt her foot on the trip and wanted to save energy for walking to more interesting sites later in the day, so we had breakfast there at least once.

The Hilton Club New York (HCNY) is unique. There is no way for people other than owners to book there directly using points though they can trade in via RCI. Owners of HCNY can use their points to book at HCNY or anywhere else in the HGVC system (though booking elsewhere is a poor value since the MFs/point are so high).

Note that HCNY is separate from HGVC with it's own reservation website and requires payment of separate annual dues. Also, HCNY is *not* considered a bHC resort and those who own both HCNY and a NYC/DC bHC resort can't use their HCNY points in the Home Resort or bHC windows of the NYC/DC bHC resorts. Also, HCNY deeds are for a certain number of points, most (all?) of which don't actually align with the point costs for a week in any size villa in any season.

I remember, back in the days when I still had RCI, that the HCNY (I think it was HCNY), had an expensive daily fee. Still the same or was that some other NYC timeshare "resort"?

W57 has a daily short stay fee for reservations for 3 nights or less (except for the Penthouse units).

I don't think HCNY has a similar fee (or at least I've never read of it)...but RCI may have added a daily charge.

Manhattan Club has a daily fee of around $50. Still cheaper than a hotel stay.

Called The Hilton Club. The club suites have Kuerig coffee makers. The coffee makers were removed from the hotel rooms.
