HGVC Site Down?

I cant log into the site to cancel a reservation. Is anyone seeing the site down with a message saying its due to maintenance?
 
Yep. Supposedly down since Friday. Someone on FB commented that they are at a property and staff told them all the systems are down, including the properties.

Comments were about a possible hack.
 
Tried to log in a couple of hours ago and got the message that it was down for maintenance. Wasn’t trying to do anything urgent and actually got the answer I was looking for in the Rules pdf.
 
Yes, it's been down all weekend. I wanted to make a reservation change as well, so I keep checking it. 48+ hours seems excessively long for system maintenance, so seemingly a bigger issue.
 
Wow, something must be terribly wrong with HGVC website because it is still down this morning.
 
I got into the app about an hour ago.
 
But try digging around. When you click parts of it, you get that same system advisory message.

It’s (the app) working fine for me. I just went through the steps to make a new reservation and got to the final page. The website still seems to be DOA.

Go to the Club Membership page and you get this. I haven't tested which other pages are the same. Odd that you can make a reservation though when simple info pages don't work.

I did just get that trying to see Current Promotions in the Membership area. I can see all my points ok and can move around in that section. Plus I am seeing the future reservations that I have and can move around in that area as well. I didn't complete the reservation earlier, but it seemed to be as chunky as it usually is. I really dislike the app.
 
I'm also (still) seeing it down. Nothing specific that I need to do (fortunately), but this is too long.

My first thought was that the hacker that devastated MGM weeks ago was now attacking Hilton. I was also wondering if guests with reservations were able to check in? MGM had issues with reservations, room charges, and room keys etc.. When in Vegas right after the hack various staff at restaurants, check in, etc. said it was terrible.

Last night reading this thread I googled and didn't see any specific information on the situation other than here on TUG.

Same here… couldn’t log in since Friday and this morning the update is NO ETA and you can call us, but UNABLE TO ASSUST WITH RESERVATIONS.

Sounds like this attack was devastating. Guess the hacker didn’t like his sales pitch

But seriously wonder when this will be up again
 
Rolling out the new Maxx features like reservation wait-list for high demand locations, hahaha. Sorry for the bad joke, luckily I have all my reservations set for now...

Site seems to be back up.
I was able to get in also. Everything looks normal (all reservations are still there and available point totals are correct) in my account.
 
Top
