I really want to own Maui , but hoping these 3 contracts and precision 9 month booking snipes will be able to get us in there.

Congratulations! I don’t follow Maui, so I can not help you there. The more flexible you are, then the better off you will be. Also, Maui will be adding additional units to the inventory as the different phases are finished. That will certainly help. I think that you have a good plan. I know when I couldn’t get what I wanted I added resale Ocean Oak platinum season Ocean Front to my mix. I would suggest that you wait and see how club booking goes you. Just remember that using a HW (Home Week) is very specific, one week, starting on check-in day for that resort, IN the DEEDED unit that you own.

Thank you. I know for HW I likely in the near future have zero plans to stay at Boulevard or Sea World. This will be purely for exploring Club Points in new destinations as we start to explore vacations outside of DVC. Now the fun part ... waiting for the closing process.

I have a few deeds that I use for HW bookings such as Ocean Oak, Valdoro winter ski and Park City winter ski week. The rest I use only for the points to book during club season. I think that most TUG HGVC resale members have never booked their HWs.

This is why ultimate goal would be to own Maui. I would certainly take advantage of the HW booking there. Will play the wait and see game on how these points work out. I have until Nov 1 for the 9 month window to book our next planned trip to Hawaii on Aug 1, 2026 hopefully all deeds are closed and active by then and I'll have to report back on if it was a success.

If the deeds aren’t closed by then, then there will be a significant problem with some part of the process.
