Help! Question about cancelling contract

Thanks for the link!

Also- quick update. The welk called my husband and even though i told him not to answer he picked up! :annoyed::doh::doh::wall::wall: and they tried to get him to change his mind and he said no and now they sent an email w/ an offer thats "cheaper". sighhhhhh *rolling my eyes*

LOL

Quick update- got a call from an unknown number, let it go to vm per the recomendation from TUGers; and it was the resort. It wasnt my salesperson but someone else talking about a closeout of escrow? What does that mean?
Also, i received an email from a rep saying that they received my notice of cancellation and are noting the cancellation for 7/22/2015. Should i call this person that left a message back?

Not surprising. When a contract is signed it routes over to a part of the organization that is involved with enrollment and financing, and not with sales. When you rescind, it usually goes to the sales department. If the sales department doesn't tell fulfillment that the contract was rescinded, they simply continue on their path.

We rescinded one sale when we were still at the resort, and for two months afterward we were receiving phone calls and e-mails from the fulfillment people.

Recommend you buy

Just tell them to match the best price you can get in the secondary market and you would be very pleased to buy.
You are lucky you found TUG before your first buy was complete.
When I used to go to TS meetings for the hour and a half I always made it clear at the check in desk I had to leave at the hour and a half or before. The first thing we told the salesman was what we paid for our secondary market timeshare and we would buy right now and save time for everyone if they could match the price. We left several times in less than 20 minutes. Saves us and them both time. Twice they tried to keep us past this the obligatory period and we got up and left.
One man told us this was unfair and rude and I told them that their not living up to agreements was unfair and rude.
One place refused to give the GIFT and we called the manager and he delivered the gift.

Definitely a man after my own heart. Some folks just find this good entertainment. At Wyndham a year or two ago the guy was ready to let us go with all premiums after 20 minutes but he was so pleasant we stayed for another 20. Did I mention we came in with printed TUG resale listings of his properties and placed them on the table at the outset?
