Has anyone linked their Hawaiian miles and Alaska miles accounts?

There’s an ongoing thread on flyertalk. There might be some tips for folks running into issues.

I was able to start the transfer from my son's account, but am still getting the X error message for the other two family members. Well, one is better than none. I will try again later.

Update: Success! I was able to transfer the other two family members' Alaska Mileage Plan miles to their Hawaiian Miles accounts. Now I just have to wait until they arrive, and transfer them all to my Hawaiian Miles account, and then transfer all of those pooled Hawaiian Miles to my Alaska Mileage Plan account, or just wait for it to happen automatically when the two loyalty programs completely merge. Do folks recommend initiating that transfer myself instead of waiting?

Wonder when this will take place. I have a companion fair waiting and a Trip in July. would love to use this if possible but "mid summer" does not sound promising for my timeline
Just saw that they made the announcement in July

I was able to link mine, i had some problems when I first tried then I looked through both accounts to make sure everything matched. Once they did I was able to link them. They didn’t combine the points so not sure what it accomplished.

Easy to xfr from HA to AS (but it is a step you need to take, to move them)..
Mahalo!

I created my Alaska account just last week, in anticipation of flying to Juneau next year. Linking it to my Hawaiian account was easy, especially since neither one has any miles in it!

Plan ahead for a temporary account freeze

On Oct. 1, 2025, your HawaiianMiles membership will transfer to Atmos™ Rewards, our combined loyalty program with Alaska Airlines. Your miles and status are coming, too.
To prepare for this transition, HawaiianMiles account login will be
unavailable from Sept. 26–30, 2025. The full list of impacted features is below.
Huaka‘i by Hawaiian enrollment unavailable

From Sept. 26, 2025, HawaiianMiles members will be unable to enroll in Huaka‘i by Hawaiian, either online or through the HawaiianMiles Service Center. If you’re a Hawai‘i resident who would like to enroll in Huaka‘i by Hawaiian, please do so prior to September 26. Enrollment will be available again beginning Oct. 1, 2025, through Atmos Rewards. Existing Huaka’i by Hawaiian members will continue to receive benefits as usual through the transition period, so long as your HawaiianMiles number is on the reservation.
HawaiianMiles account log in unavailable

HawaiianMiles members will be unable to log in to their account and will be unable to make any changes to:

  • Profile and settings
  • Email address and email subscription preferences
  • Create, edit or select saved travelers when booking on HawaiianAirlines.com
  • Change saved forms of payment or use saved forms of payment when booking on HawaiianAirlines.com
  • Request 'forgot password' email
  • Request ' forgot HawaiianMiles number' or 'forgot email'
  • Redeem miles from your HawaiianMiles account
  • Buy, share, donate or transfer miles, including between HawaiianMiles and Atmos Rewards
On Oct. 1, 2025, your HawaiianMiles account will be migrated to Atmos Rewards, and we’ll provide additional instructions on how to access your new account then.

I just booked on Alaska website PDX to KOA. Over on Alaska, direct, but return on Alaska wasn't convenient, so back on Hawaiian via HNL. I haven't flown on Hawaiian for years, so we are looking forward to it. Difference in hubs. Booking went smoothly. Accounts now joined in one.
