Yesterday, there was a severe weather advisory on Mystarcentral.com for Harborside, the 3 Florida TS and Myrtle Beach. This morning that advisory doesn't open when you click on it. I don't know what that means. I'll keep checking back.
We are working on alternative plans, knowing that Josephine is on the heels of Ike. I'm so sorry for all of those who were supposed to be there this coming week.
We had a storm here in the Phoenix area last week that the weatherman said had all the elements of a hurricane except a name. It lasted several hours, with winds up to 100mph. It was a little scary, and kinda cool. It gave me somewhat of an appreciation for what the people who live in hurricane territory feel. It was novel for me as it's such a rare occurence here. I can only imagine how frightening it must be in areas where heavy flooding can occur and threaten lives. Good luck to all of you in the path of these storms. We're thinking of you.
Kepi, I still hope to see you at the pool!
