I see there is a Merry Christmas thread, which is nice, but to all our Jewish friends this is the first full day of Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights.

So, I want to be the first to wish them a Happy Hanukkah, and a happy eight days of festivity. :)

So to honor this, here is a link to Adam Sandler singing his great Hanukkah Song.:)

Thank You, Rick. Here's wishing you and Cora and the family all the best for the coming year.

And Happy Hanukkah to everybody at TUG, too.

I usually do latkas with my class at school, not this year we were snowed out all week, so enjoy those yummy latkas for me, too.

Happy Hannukah from Ocean Reef TS on GBI!

Much better than snowy NJ!

Let's hope and pray that the light that shines with each candle will cast its glow for better things in 2009.

Stay safe, stay warm and stay healthy. My wish to you all is for "Shalom", peace on Earth and peace of mind.

How nice to see this thread. Happy Hanukkah to all and may your brisket be tender!

We're spending most of this Hannukah at the Ocean Reef Resort in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island. Here's my dh's latest blog post, where conch fritters have become our substitute for latkes!

Happy 5th night of Chanukah!!

How nice to see this thread. Happy Hanukkah to all and may your brisket be tender!

When it gets close to Passover we'll have to start a brisket thread! My DH's grandmother was very worried about him marrying a shickse. It's taken me 35 years to finally get the brisket right!
