I see there is a Merry Christmas thread, which is nice, but to all our Jewish friends this is the first full day of Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights.

So, I want to be the first to wish them a Happy Hanukkah, and a happy eight days of festivity.

When it gets close to Passover we'll have to start a brisket thread! My DH's grandmother was very worried about him marrying a shickse. It's taken me 35 years to finally get the brisket right!
