Happy Aloha Friday!

Tra la, it's May, the lusty month of May, and the tom turkeys are showing off, trying to attract the hens.

Happy Aloha Friday from Upstate South Carolina. 41 this morning, mid 70s today and then the heat gets turned up, near 90 Sunday and Monday. Rain supposed to start mid week for several days. Wherever you are enjoy yourselves.

Happy Aloha Friday! We have been at our home in Reno for a few days, and tomorrow we are headed to our timeshare in Incline Village, Lake Tahoe. Hyatt High Sierra:

Happy Aloha Friday!!! We have a nice day planned on Maui today. First, I am getting a Shave and a Haircut today. Then we are stopping for a Shave Ice. Then there is a Mai Tai party at the pool today and after that we will head to Le Bazaar for a Mediterranean meal.

This weeks picture keeps us here on Maui during our flight here from Molokai. A Mokulele flight can get you great views. Here is a picture as we get closer to land in Kahului.

Enjoy and have an Awesome Aloha Friday and a Great Weekend!!!🤙🏻🌴🌺😎

Happy Aloha Friday!

Hibiscus don't like Minnesota winters, so every year we wait until there's no chance of frost and buy a new one for the deck. We always name her Beulah.

Happy Aloha Friday! It has been hot here, and then a cool front came through last evening, and it’s in the 50s today. Just in time for all the pools to open today, lol!

Also, my DD moves out of her dorm today in NYC. She moves into her own apt on 6/3. This feels like a super-important milestone.

Happy Aloha Friday from Salem Oregon. Tomorrow we start our Road Trip. Salem to Reno for two nights. We do not gamble. This is simply a resting spot after a long day drive. Then Reno to Park City for 8 nights. We were last there 11 years ago for 1st Granddaughter's Birth. We are taking our blow up Kayaks and Peddle Assist Bikes. Then Park City to Moab for 10 nights. We are looking forward to exploring that area of Utah. Then Moab to St George for 10 nights. We will probably stop by Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon on the way. So much to do in the area. Then Reno for 2 nights. Then home to Salem. These are all Worldmark stays.

When we were last in Park City I rode my standard Bike from the Resort (down by the Freeway and Krogers) up to Down Town Park City. Patti took the free Shuttle.

About a month ago I had my Ponytail dyed Violet. It. Was beautiful. But the colour only lasted about 2.5 weeks. Yesterday I had it dyed Dark Purple. It is suppose to last.

Happy Aloha Friday. We are heading out to the cabin . No phone or internet but we do have an old tv, dvds and stereo. The main attraction is the fire pit by the river. Have a fun Memorial Day.

Bill

Happy Aloha Friday from Conroe Texas. A quick road trip for a cousin's reunion tomorrow. About 10 first cousins gathering. Flood watch for the greater Houston area until Monday. Have a good holiday weekend and remember those that gave all.

Happy Aloha Friday! After many weeks of not posting, I'm back! It's currently 75 with a high of 79. Here's one of my favorite signs of all time. I love both of the signs like this; so much so, I purchased small replicas and have them hanging in my home.

When I was growing up on O'ahu, those signs would get stolen all the time and were constantly having to be replaced. But seeing them would amp me up because it usually meant I was about to ride some awesome North Shore waves.

Yea, there have been several articles discussing it. Here's one from 2018. https://www.hawaiimagazine.com/nort...s-have-a-sad-heartfelt-and-complicated-story/
I thought I read one that was more detailed, but the 3 I checked are all short. This one has a picture of the artist. https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/story/4977439/new-haleiwa-sign-features-female-surfer/

Happy Aloha Friday! Tomorrow, we are starting the 2nd of 2 weeks at Hyatt High Sierra, Incline Village, Lake Tahoe. This is our favorite mainland timeshare! The first week is our home week, and the 2nd week is a II exchange which we were notified of by the Sightings Forum Request Thread: https://tugbbs.com/forums/threads/sightings-requests-2026.379669/ (thank you @Greg G!) We requested the same unit for both weeks, and fortunately, we got it!

Our 2nd floor balcony is about 50 ft. from Incline Creek, which is quite active right now due to the snow runoff, so all we hear and see is the forest, running water, and lots of birds! Oh, and a little casino time. ;)
