Happy Aloha Friday

Artringwald, please those single digit temperatures with you. LOL.
For sure I'll be leaving them in MN next month when we leave for Kauai.😆

We had single digit lows several days this week but it should be above freezing this weekend.🥶

Happy Aloha Friday.

We haven't had any sunshine for at least a month. It's been cold, dank, and we are only here because of family holidays. Today I was in the attic of a building checking on the attic heaters. One kind of works and the other isn't. When I got home I noticed one of the frost less hydrants had an icicle so I had to thaw that out before it split.

House of Wong. We wanted something Wong for dinner but they had the Wong wok.

Happy Aloha Friday!!! Very windy here the last few days. Winter is upon us and next week we will have a couple days with lows of 66 degrees. 🥶🥶

This week's picture takes us on the Ferry from Maui to Lanai. The ride is just over an hour and as you get close, you get beautiful views of this small island. The ferry now departs from Ma'alaea Harbor instead of Lahaina and arrives at Manele Lanai Harbor. The trip is made three times a day.

Enjoy and have an Awesome Aloha Friday and a Great Weekend!!🤙🏻🌺🌴😎

Bundle up and stay warm! 🔥 😆

Good morning artringwald, now that is cold or is that freezing.
Sunny skies today . The high will be 12 degrees. I'm going to stop complaining about our cold temperature of 29 degrees.
I do miss the mild winters in Delaware where we grew up. When we moved here what we didn't expect is how short the days are. At least it's sunny today. With fresh snow on the ground, it's very bright. Enjoy your balmy 29 degrees. 😎

Artringwald, Thanks and please enjoy your sun and snow. I do understand the short days of winter; at 5pm it is dark in Coastal Virginia.

Happy Aloha Friday. Snorkeling with the seals & turtles. The rules say you are not allowed to disturb seals and turtles but it's ok for them to disturb others.

Happy Friday the 13th! It is 53º and drizzly for the 2nd day in a row here in Hades, CA, and we love it!

Here is a birds-eye view of the beautiful Pointe at Poipu, from our stay in October:

Happy Aloha Friday. I realize this is a late post, but work got in the way! Anyway, very nice day on the Windward side today. This week has been very nice, especially considering it's December. Mostly sunny days, but clouds here and there with an occasional light rain (as expected) Breeze is blowing today, but it's too muggy for us to open the doors to the lanai (unlike the previous 2 days). I had intended on posting something without the the Koolaus today, but I was able to see a rainbow on Tuesday and thought I'd share it here.

@DeniseM I think I prefer that view to the Ocean Front we there had last trip. It's also not too dissimilar from view we had when we stayed in building 1.

Happy Aloha Friday!!! It's the last Aloha Friday before Christmas. Even though it won't be a White Christmas for us, Christmas is still in the air.

This week's picture keeps us on Molokai and takes us to downtown Kaunakakai. The Post Office put up a huge Christmas Tree this year in their front lawn. No snow but it shows Christmas is in the air here in Kaunakakai.

Enjoy and have an Awesome Aloha Friday, a Great Weekend and a Very Merry Christmas!!!🌺🤙🏻🌴🎅

Happy Aloha Friday & Merry Christmas. I was caught on a security camera removing the snow off my son's driveway. I also removed the snow off the neighbor across the street who is 80+ and made a path to the mail boxes. I don't mind using the snow blower but I won't shovel snow. I can't wait to get somewhere warmer.

Happy Aloha Friday! We got our first plowable snow yesterday. It's pretty if you don't have to go anywhere. (we stayed home)

Happy Aloha Friday! Wednesday, Rod and I visited a local casino for a nice lunch and some gaming. (He won - I lost!) This casino always has beautiful Christmas decorations, and we took the opportunity to take a picture. We are hosting brunch on Christmas day, so we will be getting ready for that for the next few days.

Happy Aloha Friday! Here's a picture from Waimea Canyon.

@artringwald and @easyrider I wouldn't mind that snow for about 2 weeks...but only 2 weeks.

I agreed your first plowable snow is very photographs. Looks like a postcard. However, you may retain all that snow in Minnesota. LOL

Easyrider...Your son and his EIGHTY years old neighbor are Blessed to have you in their loving thought. and care. IMHO. Please relax the remainder of the week.

To,have a snow blower means you must receive plenty of snow during the winter months. IMHO

Happy Aloha Friday!!! Christmas over, next week we ring in the New Year and the Holiday season will be over. Happy New Year everyone!!

This week's picture keeps us here on Molokai and over to the East side to Elephant Rock. I took this picture a few years ago on our way out to the Halawa Valley. When viewed for above , the rock formation resembles an Elephant-trunk, ear, body, tail and all.

Enjoy and have an Awesome Aloha Friday and a Great Weekend!!!🤙🏻🌺🌴😎

Happy Aloha Friday!

Anybody remember the Pohaku T's store in Kōloa Town, Kauai? It was 1/2 a block south of the gas station. He did the designs and printing. She ran the store. We stopped there every year we were in Kauai, and brought them plenty of business from us and whoever we brought along. The designs were creative and most the shirts were heavy duty cotton. They retired several years ago which was great for them, but I miss them. My t-shirts from them are showing their age now, but I still like wearing one of them on Aloha Friday. My favorite is the one that says Pau Hana on the back. Literally, it means "done work" which applies to both me and the former owners.
