Good uses of Hilton Aspire Annual Free Night Certificate

Awesome move. Wouldnt you have free access to the lounge as a Diamond elite?
At the Conrad DC, the lounge is the "Sakura Lounge" rather than a Conrad Lounge so Diamond elites don't get access.

They've raised the point cost for South Bank to 180,000 Hilton Honors points per night as the standard reward rate from 130,000 points. Seems to still be plenty of availability at that rate - choices are either the 2 BR Boathouse or the 1 BR Boathouse. The rate in cash is pretty steep, but booking 5 nights with points for 720,000 would be the equivalent of a studio penthouse at The Quin converted plus a couple of FNCs to round out the week, making it pretty manageable. We've got a ThirdHome exchange over in Grace Bay for a week after this then are back here for another 5 nights using points (at the lower rate). Might come back again in the future....

The unit has a quite usable kitchen and staying here comes with free breakfast daily for two people.

Good deal

This might be a good one. I wanted to go when Allegiant finally completed it but they wanted over $1k per night which was a hard no. Now it will become a curio. This is right within the SW HGV properties. Large pools and several restaurants. Great YouTube review if interested.

250K for a standard night now, though. Great for FNCs.
assuming that a FNC will work for a 250k night....that one article said that they had a 150k max...but not sure if that is true or not. I thought that they just worked for standard rewards...period.

We have 2 FNC to use soon. With one expiring end of this month and another (I think) in OCT.

We are in central TX. Travel is probably limited, but we saw some good airfare to NYC and Chicago. any suggestions on where to look for a 2 night getaway 9/20-9/23 (yes, that's 3 nights, but we would only go 2 nights/3 days). We don't want to go anywhere that will take too long for transit, since it will be a short trip. Heck, even driving would be fine.

Open to suggestions!

I would look at where cheap airfare is that is going to a city with a Waldorf or similar property. Seems like a lot of travel for a 3 day trip to NYC from Central TX.

? Vegas
? WA Monarch Beach (in LA 'burbs) or Beverly Hills... (as flights to LA would likely be cheap from TX esp for this shoulder season)..
WA Beverly Hills has a house car service/experience (Rolls Royce), I believe...

This was great for FNC's ... reopening soon.

CLOSED FOR ANNUAL MAINTENANCE – REOPENING OCTOBER 1ST WITH A REFRESHED AND REIMAGINED RESORT EXPERIENCE!

Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal ...

I think for the point price point I would rather try some of the SLH in Mexico and Caribbean. The Todos Santos or Villa Santa Cruz looks really nice. Only 130k points too.

I assume the WA NYC has long since run out of standard redemptions for those dates but if the Conrad Downtown has availability it’s well worth the trip. But there really isn’t anything else in NYC worth a FNC now that the Conrad Midtown turned into a Luxury Collection Marriott.

The WA in Costa Rica is very easy to get into - haven't tried it yet but I've heard good things. We thoroughly enjoyed the Los Altos SLH and plan on trying a few of the others there on future trips.

I see that is still 140 think it was 135k when it opened. That is a decent option for sure.

Yes the Conrad is nice.
There is the WA as well, but probably no standard room availability there.
