Global Timeshare Solutions

they will take your money($599.99) list it on there website and than do nothing.
you can list it yourself on REDWEEK.COM for $19.95 and that site gets more hits than global.

Global Timeshare Solutions will do nothing

I actually tried to contact one of the owners listed on that site. The Global agent that I spoke to asked me when I would send the money. When I told him that I wanted to verify the unit and week, I was told that "some of these owners just don't seem to respond to our calls or mail. Just send us the money."

Yeah. Right. An owner is desperate enough to pay them $600+ and then won't pay attention? No way.

I never got my offer to an owner. I tried about 3 times total to get information to them. The different Global agents implied that I wasn't "serious" because I wouldn't send them thousands of dollars just on their say-so.

Stay away from this group. If you want to sell it, www.myresortnetwork.com has been a pretty good spot for me to find things and contact owners.

Just remember that when you post it, you WILL be called by these pay-a-fee slime. They have no incentive to sell your property. In fact, that fee is a *yearly* fee, so they really have no incentive to sell it for you when they can just blame a slow real estate market and collect another fee. And a real buyer can't even get through to you.

I just got off the phone with a guy from Global Timeshare Solutions. He guaranteed that he could sell my timeshare for a bit more than I paid, and all I would have to do is give him $899. He stressed that he gets none of this money but really didn't say where it would go. He also told me that if it didn't sell within 120 days, that I could get all my money back. However, he said that would never happen because he has buyers standing in line for Windham points. All I asked was that he send me some paperwork that detailed what he stated. He said his word was good enough. Around and around we went and all he kept asking me for was my credit card number. After a while, he started with the "if you are already talking about cancelling, then you probably aren't serious". Blah, blah, blah. I finally hung up on him (and I still have my $899)!

I agree with the previous posts - this is one company to stay away from!!!!!

had an "incident" with this company 2 years go regarding my aunt who is 90 and owns a t/s in florida. they gave her the same line of BS in regard to renting and she went for it.when i found out i immediately sent them a very forceful email explaining that she is 90 years old, living on a fixed income and could not afford to hand over $599.00 for an abstract promise of renting her t/s for $2000.00
i went on to say that if the money was not immediately credited back to her charge account, i would contact the attorney general of the state of florida and make him fully aware of the abuse being perpertrated upon elders in his state. i went onto demand that they remove her name from their " calling list" or i would persue vigilantly any/all legal options available.i received an email back within 20 minutes with the direct phone number of the "general manager". i called and to their credit the situation was resolved to my satisfaction and the charge was refunded. they have not called again. surprisingly a happy ending.
