In case anyone is interested in the above offer, please note that Welk does not allow an owner to combine contracts. As a result, if you own more than one contract your MFs will be higher than owning just one contract with the same number of total points. I believe you can’t combine points to make a single reservation either, but can make consecutive reservation.

That is correct.
You cannot combine accounts to make one large points amount.
They will still show up as separate accounts with separate maintenance fees.

Marriott just bought welk? Is 120K points a lot?

Not sure how the merger of Marriott and WELK will change the points amounts.
WELK sells points accounts much larger than this. so this is a smaller account.

Yes you can still exchange through another company even if you bought on the resale market.

Marriott just bought welk? Is 120K points a lot?

Yes, MVC bought Welk Resorts and is rebranding resorts in some fashion to Hyatt. As you may know, Hyatt was part of ILG when MVC bought ILG. 120k points is not very much in the Welk system. It equates to a studio for one week, and I don’t recall if that varies by season. Personally, I wouldn’t want to own these type of contracts, but I suppose they could work for some people depending on their travel desires. No offense to the OP intended.
