Perhaps just for European owners / residents?

This will probably be hitting owners mailboxes any time now
(those with resale purchases anyway)
“ Offer details:

I don't think they're offering anything specific, just those are the minimum spends to qualify.

I believe that Dean is right, this is just the minimum spend.
Last year we bought a Gold Marbella week for around this minimum spend, albeit only a 1 Bed unit but that is all we wanted and the 1 Bed units are particularly large in Marbella.
I am sure that some fellow European owners will be checking this out though, so an update will follow.

Probably the best way to get an idea is looking at the points that are allotted to each option. I was quoted around $12 PP for Platinum and anywhere from just over $6 PP for a 2 BR Gold at Mallorca to $8.50 for a 3 BR Gold week there.

Yes and we paid $6.28 PP for 1 BR Gold in Marbella.

My 3 bedroom seafront gold week will not make the cut for enrollment as it’s after Jan 2024.

We paid $70K for 3 weeks and 3K points to get to Presidential, but we are now Chairman's Club with the Vistana merger/ownership. My estimate is that we will break even if we keep the ownership for 15 years, not considering net present value... so probably more like 20 years. We exchange to about 6 weeks of 2BR by locking off our weeks and use 3K points to book 2 weeks of 1BR through Abound. The breakeven includes reselling (50% cut by MVC) through MVC through their hybrid program and resale price of $3 per point (more like $4 per point but if we go through a broker, they keep the $1 per point as commission).

I just picked up 2 bedroom Marbella gold at the required minimum to enroll 2 weeks. That price seems a bit high compared to what you were getting. Perhaps this is because of the enrollment of 2 weeks?

I'll have to check my notes when I get to the office but it sounds like they jacked the price up on one week to around $8.50 PP sufficiently to enroll the 2 units since the requirement is a minimum spend.
