Do remaining LCUP points transfer on resale

hi Steve, for them help covert LCUP to EEE points, do you need an active II account already? I just got HRC account activated, but not II account yet.

HRC will setup the account for you - your annual ownership fees include a Gold membership. You'll know it's been setup once your Interval ID number shows up on "The Lounge" owner portal.

if your points are in LCUP status, you are likely past the due date for converting them to EEE. nevertheless, you could always call and ask for an exception!
thanks for your reply!
A follow up question: how did you end up using your LCUP points? For them to make an exception, do you need find a trade on II first and ask them to book it or they can just convert the LCUP points to EEE for future use? The reason I am asking is I am still waiting for my II account to be set up so I can not find an II trade now, but it seems you do not need an II account for EEE points conversion.

The LCUP points do transfer with the deed, and will appear in your Hyatt account once the deed/contract appears in your Hyatt account. If Hyatt is kind enough to convert those LCUP points to EEE points, they will remain in your Hyatt account as EEE points until you find an Interval booking, and then you just to the II booking, and it will automatically remove the appropriate number of EEE points from your account.

Edit; You DO need an II account to use your EEE points, but a Gold II membership is part of your prepaid annual Hyatt dues, so it's just a matter of activating that prepaid membership. Sadly, folks with more than one Hyatt deed pay for that Gold II membership multiple times (once for each Hyatt deed/contract they own), but of course they only have the benefit of one gold account. It would be really nice if you got a gold II membership with one Hyatt deed, and a Platinum II with 2 or more Hyatt deeds but that's not the case.
